Help me find alternative brown lace up boots!

I wonder if anyone fancies a challenge.

They are from Celtic & Co, but are sold out. I messaged them and sadly they won't be restocking them. I love the style & colour and would love to find something similar. However, what I have found so far just looks too "new". I like the weathered look, I like lace up.

Any suggestions for retailers or specific boots gratefully received.

I'm a size 8.

Pandora boots by Ten Points. A Swedish brand and they have a sale on. Their boots are fab, very good quality.

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 27/11/2020 23:02

Try mustang boots. Similar colour, similar shape, nice and comfy.
I also like the work look but just can't find any anywhere so these were the next best thing.

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 27/11/2020 23:04

Worn look, not work look

acatcalledjohn · 28/11/2020 01:05

I do like the look of the Pandora ones, but being really picky, I like the height to more like the Celtic&Co ones, so be inbetween the two heights Ten Points have on their website. Good shout though and definitely a brand I will keep in mind.

The Mustang boots are a nice style, but I should have added to my OP that I do want real leather. Unfortunately my feet get sweaty quite quickly and natural materials suit me better.

The search continues.

I do like these Mustang boots. But sweaty feet, so not worth the money for me. I'd rather pay more for leather.

OP, you could always buy a pair and then give them a worn in look at home. I haven't tried it, but there is lots of info online about giving boots the worn in look.

tofuschnitzel · 28/11/2020 11:55

They have these in size 8 for the brown boots.

I have fallen in love with these Doc Marten boots but can't justify buying them. They are fur lined and you can fold them over. They have them in dark and light brown.

@Thesunrising - I keep going back to Ten Points. The soles on those Pandora boots look like they haven't got much grip? https://www.footway.com/gb/product/pandora-cognac-10

Thanks for the Dune link. They are darker than I'd like even though like the style, plus I'd be terrified of ruining the boots by trying to distress them myself. The Doc Martens are ok, but a bit chunkier than I'd like.

Thank you to everyone for your suggestions so far. It's broadening my horizons when it comes to brands so it's all good. Keep them coming!

Have you tried Panama Jack boots? They tend to look nice and worn in.

Residentdove2020 · 28/11/2020 14:17

Funnily enough have been hankering after something like your boots this week Op & I'd found these. I prefer the higher length of yours though, so no help sorry. www.johnlewis.com/josef-seibel-sienna-17-leather-block-heel-lace-up-ankle-boots-camel-brown/p5149662?size=5&sku=238951490&s_ppc=2dx92700057639182608&tmad=c&tmcampid=2&gclid=Cj0KCQiAh4j-BRCsARIsAGeV12Bu28wRPP5Ji6xrGl7-UnAfLiXNP4HkFuafn0VtrUA8gCYqbewHGBUaArXsEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Have a look at Rocket Dog. They have several different brown lace up styles and at the moment everything is 50% off.

I ordered a pair of new boots on Thursday afternoon and they arrived Friday evening. I'm very happy with them.

They’re lovely
VicMackey · 28/11/2020 14:42

@Lindy2

Are they leather Lindy (its not specific in listing ) thanks

MoltonSilver · 28/11/2020 14:46

Hudson tend to go for a worn in look.

HoxtonBonnet · 28/11/2020 14:49

An add for this company pooped up on my Facebook feed - their boots looks nice. I am going to get a pair of their brogues.

ButNotTonight20 · 28/11/2020 14:53

I have these
duoboots.com/collections/ankle-boots/products/balla-chestnut-brown-leather

After three years they look very lived in but still stylish and very very comfortable.

ButNotTonight20 · 28/11/2020 14:56

Have also tried these and are very comfortable but couldn't justify buying two similar styles.

Lindy2 · 28/11/2020 15:02

VicMackey I'm not actually 100% sure if they are leather. They are good quality. My last pair lasted about 5 years

This typo is glorious Grin
acatcalledjohn · 28/11/2020 18:10

Pooped up Grin

Rocketdog: Nice but not vegan
Clarks: I already have the Orinoco Spice in black. Not the most comfortable boots (and I normally love Clarks for comfort)
Joseph Seibel: very nice but too low
Panama Jack: nothing in their current collection caught my eye
Hudson: Nice collection, will keep an eye on. Like the Yew Tan, but think they are the men's collection (and my feet aren't quite that wide).
Lanx: too brogue

DuoBoots: would say too brogue, but on the model (with darker laces) they look gorgeous!

Not the same as your pic, but I just got these and am completely in love with them. Ridiculously comfortable.

HoxtonBonnet · 28/11/2020 18:28

@tofuschnitzel GrinConfusedBlush- to be fair, some of the adds that pop up on my feed are a bit poopy! I really must remember to check what I have written before I post!
