Help me find alternative brown lace up boots!

I wonder if anyone fancies a challenge.

They are from Celtic & Co, but are sold out. I messaged them and sadly they won't be restocking them. I love the style & colour and would love to find something similar. However, what I have found so far just looks too "new". I like the weathered look, I like lace up.

Any suggestions for retailers or specific boots gratefully received.

I'm a size 8.

Clarks Orinocco Spice are brilliant. I've got a pair in tan (Brown Snuff) and they look very similar to those. I love them, I'm planning to get a black pair in the sales.

@Hellofayearsofar - I ordered those ones and they arrived this morning. I love them. So much softer and more comfortable than your average new DMs. I wish a could justify a second pair in a different colour (I have the colour you linked to), but I really can’t!

(Sorry OP - not really helpful for you)

Hellofayearsofar · 28/11/2020 20:43

Oubliette, are they comfortable? I am still very tempted! Where did you buy them from?

OublietteBravo · 28/11/2020 21:39

@Hellofayearsofar
They are very comfortable. No breaking in necessary (unusual for Docs). I bought them from the DM website. On a bit of a whim.

Oooh!

I LIKE those.

How about these

I prefer these ones but maybe not the right colour for you

The Moshulu are ok, but the Pepe ones win. I have ordered them. Fingers crossed they fit and are comfortable! Thanks @GoldfishParade!

DuoBoots and Ten Points are my back up brands at this stage.

Back on the hunt. The Pepe boots were far too narrow and tight. And my feet aren't wide.

So annoying.

Noooooo! That is so annoying because I thought they looked great :-/

Onedropbeat · 07/12/2020 20:58

I bought brogue lace up boots from dune so I didn’t look like everyone else wearing combat/hiker styles this year

I know! Granted, they ARE beautiful. But 'twas not to be. The leather feels too tough, and that combined with a tight fit already (next size up would be too long) means they are not even worth trying to break in.

I'm still gutted about the Celtic & Co Derby boots.
