Is this Boden dress nice? 30% off

I’m quite tempted but something about it makes me unsure (probably the price, possibly the sleeves). It would be £112 with the discount. Any thoughts?

I’ve bought Boden dresses before and sent them back because of a bad fit on me, so not sure why I think this would be any different, but I do love the colours.

It is the kind of dress i think you need to see in the flesh- I would buy it and try it on- if it doesn't look good send it back! Boden are very good with returns.

If Winter season colours and dramatic styling suits you then try it .
It would be a disaster on me as an Autumn natural ingenue.

I had my colours and style done many years ago and it has paid for itself a million times over . No expensive mistakes languishing in the wardrobe unworn .
I always knew that I suited autumn colours the best but like most people I wore black white and navy classic clothing items for work which was totally wrong and I looked awful .

That’s a lot of money for polyester, that alone would be a no from me.

The dress is beautiful, vibrant and colourful. The shape of the dress would suit only really slim body shape.

I would look like Obelix in it.

I'm a leggy 5'10' and every boden dress I have ever tried ( including the tall sized ones) has a waist band up near my chest. I am not even long bodied or particuarly busty and I never have the problem in other shops. I think they cut for small shouldered flat chested people.
Their trousers and shorts are brill though.

The polyester is putting me off. I think it might be one of those dresses that makes your hair stand out with static as you put it on.

I'm really disappointed that Boden are now embracing polyester. One of the reasons I used to buy lots of stuff from them was that they generally used natural fibres. I will never buy polyester, and certainly not at that price.

Agree on the Boden move to polyester being a bad one. With this dress, the cheap fabric outweighs the good design. It’s good fun with those raspberry boots, though. I can see the appeal, but not at that price.
