Can anyone recommend a good inexpensive mascara?

I've just discovered the one I use has been discontinued! How annoying. The main criteria is that it must not smudge or flake. Long lashes/volume please. Less than £10 if possible, I am a pauper these days.
Thanks Smile

Primark false lash queen £3.50 is fab
Or any from
Make up Revolution

Gettingthereslowly2020 · 24/11/2020 11:25

Maybelline - any of them, they're all great. I've tried more expensive mascaras but always go back to Maybelline

GingerBun · 24/11/2020 11:27

Maybelline Lash Sensational is a great one! They are usually on some kind of offer in superdrug/boots!

potkettleblock · 24/11/2020 11:27

Collection Lash Surge and the Revolution one in the gold tube are both excellent and under £10.

Scrunchcake · 24/11/2020 11:30

Another vote for Collection Lash Surge here. I use the waterproof one. Cheap as chips and I like it more than any of the posher ones I've used in the past. Doesn't give me panda eyes either!

Crimblecrumble1990 · 24/11/2020 11:38

I rate Maybelline The Falsies.

Used bourgois volume clubbing mascara for years and was devastated when they discontinued the range!

Wilko Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara

emsyj37 · 24/11/2020 12:16

Agree that all the maybelline ones are very good. I've tried 3 or 4 different ones and they're all great.

Bluesheep8 · 24/11/2020 13:20

Thankssomuch · 24/11/2020 18:39

Maybelline Great Lash, pink container

FAQs · 24/11/2020 18:47

Barry M, feature length is brilliant really good, doesn’t clump and makes me look as though I have really long eyelashes.

yorkshirepudddiing · 24/11/2020 18:48

L'Oréal telescopic in the gold tube

Blacknosugarplease · 24/11/2020 19:28

I’ve tried the usual highly rated premium brands, and always go back to maybelline.

MozzchopsThirty · 24/11/2020 19:34

No.7 the one with the curved brush
It's fantastic, no clumping, makes my lashes look great

ArmchairCritics · 24/11/2020 19:36

Second Maybelline Lash Sensational, especially with the primer.

chunkyrun · 24/11/2020 19:41

The Aldi lacura ones are amazing dupes for too faced

BaconAndAvocado · 24/11/2020 20:04

Maybelline Lash Sensation, amazing!

Really creates an eyeliner effect without the eyeliner.

Anotheruser02 · 24/11/2020 22:22

I came on to say Barry M feature length too. I don't think it's even advertised as water proof and it doesn't budge ever, looks great all day, I have eyelashes that curl up and it never prints onto my top eyelids like some mascaras do.

DobbyTheHouseElk · 24/11/2020 22:23

Wilkco essence. Purple tube black lid.

QueenPaws · 24/11/2020 22:28

Essence lash princess false lash (green tube) for me

floofycroissant · 24/11/2020 22:30

If you don't like clumpy then Kiki Milano New Green Me Volume is good for length

CoolYourBeansMySon · 25/11/2020 00:15

Gosh, lots of replies - thank you! I will check out Boots tomorrow (they have an offer on!) and try and get either the Maybelline or Collection one. Thank you so much. Now... my lipstick has also been discontinued... Grin

Maybelline, the one in the metallic pink.

I've bought very expensive mascara, probably tried 10-15 types over the years and always go back to this.

Does a good job and Superdrug often have 3for2 offers on.
