Can anyone recommend a good inexpensive mascara?

I've just discovered the one I use has been discontinued! How annoying. The main criteria is that it must not smudge or flake. Long lashes/volume please. Less than £10 if possible, I am a pauper these days.

Any of the Collection mascaras, or the Maybelline one in the metallic pink tube are fab. I tried a Primark one but wasn't impressed as it made my eyes itch! I've heard good things about the Essence mascaras but they are like gold dust.

Absolute best mascara I've ever ever had is Beauty Pie False Flash. £4 each and £5 a month to join. I buy them in bulk so I don't run out!
Beats any expensive one hands down.

Another vote for the primark ones they are honestly better than any I’ve had, even the ones I’ve paid £££ for!

Also their matte lipsticks are the same shades as MAC nudes

Rimmel Scandeleyes the orange one is the best I’ve tried. A couple of coats for every day wear, and a few more for special occasions.

The L'oreal feline one I found it more reliable than the Wilko one

I love make up and still think Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara is the best one out there.

I'm a sucker for Urban Decay Perversion - not uber cheap but you can get travel sized containers which are about a tenner. I find I never finish a bottle before it dries anyway so no sense in spending on the full sized product!

Love Rimmel Scandal eyes and Essence Lash Princess too, they're my go to ones if I can't grab the Perversion.

I'm sure a loreal air one was recently being raved about.

I also need a new, cheapish mascara so it’s great to have these recommendations. Do people find Maybelline doesn’t smudge though? I used to use Great Lash years ago and as far as I can remember used to end up with panda eyes.

I have used 2 Maybelline mascaras after recommendations on here and both have given me panda eyes. I do spend some time outdoors in my job so maybe my eyes water a little, I'm not sure. The best mascara I've used is Diorshow waterproof. Pricey but worth it.
