What do you think of this chunky jumper?

I’ve been looking for a while but nothing really struck me. I’ve just seen this one 25% off at jigsaw. I’ve just been paid for a piece of work I really slogged over and want to treat myself. Do you think this is worth the splurge?

www.jigsaw-online.com/product/textured-chunky-jumper/J42459_BL010

If so... cream or navy?!? I love both.

Also, it’s an oversized fit but does anyone know how jigsaw come up? I’m usually a clear 12 on top because of my v ahem ‘athletic‘ shoulders (rugby player sequel) but I’m a 10 on the waist/hips. I want it to look
BIG and properly oversized so I’m torn, if I get it, between a M or an L. I don’t want to be drowned but I want it to look seriously oversized not halfhearted.

Any views?!

Mmm, it’s quite nice OP, but think you can get better for the price. How about these:

BilboBercow · 19/11/2020 18:40

I think it's nice enough op. I just can't imagine ever paying £100 for something so simple. Then again I'm probably not Jigsaw's target market.

tigerbear · 19/11/2020 18:42

This is properly slouchy!
It’s a total bargain reduced to £19.50, however they only have it in large, so might be a bit too big?
This is one of my new favourite brands, you’d never think it’s Debenhams:

CottonSock · 19/11/2020 18:44

It's nice. I'd get navy, but I'm fair and can't wear cream.

CottonSock · 19/11/2020 18:45

I have almost that m&s one linked though from years ago in a red / orange.. It's lasted well.

user18435677565533 · 19/11/2020 18:48

Blimey, the model looks like she's just been dragged out of bed.

Not sure about the jumper, too distracted by the shirt.

QueenOfToast · 19/11/2020 18:49

Personally, I would prefer something properly slouchy like this one from Hush

marigoldsmarigolds · 19/11/2020 18:50

Love Jigsaw, and love that jumper. Have a look at &other stories who also have some lovely jumpers atm. If you love it get it - in both colours Smile it will love you back 🥰❤️

I think this a link to similar - May be more slouchy if that is the look you are going for

Haggisfish · 19/11/2020 18:54

I prefer these ones and they are fab. gandysinternational.com/collections/women-jumpers-hoodies

NotJustACigar · 19/11/2020 18:55

I've just ordered this today - 100% cotton so not itchy and you will not believe the price (everything I've ordered from this site has been really good quality believe it or not!). www.everything5pounds.com/en/Chunky-Dark-Blue-Cotton-Jumper/p/689037

Bubbletrouble43 · 19/11/2020 19:02

I like it in cream, I suspect in navy it would look like I'd borrowed it off dp ( all his clothes are navy... Anyone else got one of these?)

Jayaywhynot · 19/11/2020 19:03

You lost me at £98 for a jumper😉

Bubbletrouble43 · 19/11/2020 19:03

As pp said depends on coloring though. I'm light olive with dark hair so I think cream looks good on me.

Doordine · 19/11/2020 19:05

I really like it in cream, not a fan of it in navy.

I ordered this jumper and had to return it, it really isn’t that soft and came up quite short

I’m on a mission for the same thing though so will look at these other links!

helpmum2003 · 19/11/2020 19:06

It's ok but doesn't seem special for £98. Also it doesn't look really oversized if that's what you want, sorry.

Victoria1083 · 19/11/2020 19:17

Love that jumper OP in navy - a true classic. The Other Stories one is also great. I bought this jumper a couple of days ago after looking for something similar for a couple of weeks www.jigsaw-online.com/product/merino-norwegian-jumper/J42642_BK000
Although expensive, I know I will love it for years to come - it’s 100% wool too which seems to be a rarity these days

GameSetMatch · 19/11/2020 19:18

I like it but think it depends of your figure, it wouldn’t suit me, I don’t like the neck but I thinking would look good on somebody else.

MikeUniformMike · 19/11/2020 19:19

The M&S one is great. I like the jigsaw one but it is a lo of money.

MikeUniformMike · 19/11/2020 19:19

lot of money

YoureBreakingMyHeartCecilia · 19/11/2020 19:20

Thanks everyone!!

The Debs one and the Stories one are both lovely, thanks for linking; both are too cropped for me though, I am
Long-bodied so anything cropped is a disaster on me.

I like that one Cigar!!

Queen, I do like the Hush one but it’s just that bit more out of my price range (am only really considering the Jigsaw one as it’s 25% off)...

Thanks everyone!!! I’m still in two minds... will have a look at your v helpful links again and ponder...

Oh just seen your post Shirley... if it comes up short I had better avoid! Thank you!! Will check out the M&S one...
