My tits have disappeared !

I didn't know whether to put this in menopause, exercise or S&B Confused

45, have got back into shape during lockdown just to keep myself sane really. Have never been blessed with a decent chest, but they were at least small but shapely! BF 2 kids didn't help. Anyway, now that i have toned up a tiny bit they have shrunk, deflated and disappearedSad

Can i ever get them back? I suspect not,in which case how can i best enhance and pretend this hasn't happened??

Bra style/brand recommendations gratefully received, also clothes to try, or to avoid? They are so pitiful and I'd like to create the illusion of some kind of curves!

Same happened to me. I feel so much better having lost the weight but when I look in the mirror I hate how my boobs look and I’ve never cared about them at all before. They were always fine. I find balcony bras help somewhat but hoping others have some pearls of wisdom.

Missanneshirley · 07/11/2020 22:51

Mine even feel different Sad much less "full", and they were never whoppers to start with. Grim!

I've lost the fullness in the upper half of my breasts. Like a pp, I find balcony bra's are better.

Methenyouplus4 · 08/11/2020 07:44

Happened to me after BF 4 kiddos.

I really like the m&s Rosie bras that have a tiny bit of padding at bottom and are a tear drop shape. Really comfy and boobs look good.

Downside being wider at the top (not great for all tops) and all are lacy so not smooth for t-shirt etc.

Other than that, balcony style as others have said.

Mine look best if I have put on a bit too much weight elsewhere, as soon as I'm in better shape, they turn back into tragic flappy little things!

borntobequiet · 08/11/2020 07:51

I really needed HRT from the onset of peri menopause and an unexpected bonus was the way my breasts regained their fullness...if you were thinking of it anyway...

ItsmineAllmine · 08/11/2020 07:53

This happened to me! I took up running during lockdown to tone up and lost my boobs! Bra size has stayed the same but they've just lost their fullness and are saggy. I actually considered trying to put the weight I'd lost back on as preferred having nice boobs to a toned body Grin

Unlike pps balcony bras don't work for me. I've found i have to go for moulded cups, as that's the only style that gives me any shape.

FlatandFabulous · 08/11/2020 08:06

Mine too, it was called a double mastectomy (sorry, I have a bit of a sick sense of humour 😂)

Missanneshirley · 08/11/2020 08:50

Oh flatandfabulous I'm so sorry, I hope you know my OP was flippantFlowers
Glad you are able to smile about it!

Thank you all, i have also considered dropping the exercise to see if they come back!

@ItsmineAllmine Same here. Balcony bras do nothing for me. Padding and underwiring help. It's also good to use a decent body lotion on them to keep the skin in good condition. Makes me feel a bit more confident about their appearance.

Girlintheframe · 08/11/2020 09:16

Your not alone! Same has happened to me after loosing weight. Weight loss and gravity means if I've no bra I look practically flat chested!
Getting the right style (can't do plunge at all) and right size has helped hugely

liky · 08/11/2020 09:21

I have to choose between being 1 stone overweight (Boobs look great, rest of the body flabby) or the right weight (Deflated boobs, toned body).
The struggle is real.

YellowHighlighterPen · 08/11/2020 09:29

I'm the same OP and HRT did nothing to help mine.

roaringwater · 08/11/2020 09:38

Next 'Emily' bras are a help with this problem.

Missanneshirley · 08/11/2020 21:33

Oh thank you all. Glad it's not just me, but it's thoroughly depressing none the less!
Off to look at these bras!

teawamutu · 09/11/2020 10:09

Same here - dropped a couple of stone, feel great and look way better in clothes but norks even smaller and emptier.

I swear by the Freya Deco bra, gives a great shape.

IrkedEssex · 09/11/2020 12:06

If you're into exercise then work on your pecs. It will help give some structure and volume.

Balcony bras do nothing for me - mine need pushed in as well as up. The old Wonderbra was perfect. Lepel do a good one - Fiore is the model.

workshy44 · 09/11/2020 12:59

I think it is BF. I didn't BF and the fullness has stayed in mine (even when I lose weight they might be smaller but still that fullness and they never sagged)

I think BF takes a toll on the breasts that gets progressively worse with age.
I do think the Tracy Anderson exercises are amazing them at lifting and toning

Missanneshirley · 09/11/2020 23:23

Pushed in is exactly what they need! Out from under my armpits ffs how did they end up there!!

OP posts:
PerfidiousAlbion · 10/11/2020 01:17

You need some gel padded bras (Victorias Secret) and some ribbed, high neck jumpers.

PerfidiousAlbion · 10/11/2020 01:18

I have the opposite problem, i lose all my weight from my bum and legs.

MiniMum97 · 10/11/2020 01:50

Oh no! I am about to try to lose weight that I have put on due to my thyroid and am 47. Was worried this might happen. Doesn't bode well 😳

teawamutu · 10/11/2020 08:06

I've still lost tons of weight from my thighs, bum, stomach and arms - it's only the last couple of pounds that really seem to have affected the norks. Don't be discouraged - I'm still thrilled with the overall effect and pretty proud of myself, just thinking it's time to stop actively trying to lose weight now.
goose1964 · 10/11/2020 15:48

The reason this happens is because the milk ducts disappear . It's only happened to me on one side so I'm lopsided ,one side is a G and the smaller one isnt.

bjjgirl · 10/11/2020 17:26

After bfing both my dds I had an enlargement which filled them up, the best money I've ever spent

nancybotwinbloom · 10/11/2020 17:35

I got mine done at 38.

Happy with them but I suffered from an infection which was honestly awful.
Happy to share what happened if your interested.
