My tits have disappeared !

I didn't know whether to put this in menopause, exercise or S&B Confused

45, have got back into shape during lockdown just to keep myself sane really. Have never been blessed with a decent chest, but they were at least small but shapely! BF 2 kids didn't help. Anyway, now that i have toned up a tiny bit they have shrunk, deflated and disappearedSad

Can i ever get them back? I suspect not,in which case how can i best enhance and pretend this hasn't happened??

Bra style/brand recommendations gratefully received, also clothes to try, or to avoid? They are so pitiful and I'd like to create the illusion of some kind of curves!

Try the adds two sizes bigger bra seem to work on my daughters

Octopus37 · 10/11/2020 18:23

I have the same problem, the only way to get a decent chest is to gain weight everywhere, boob gain is obviously last. One thing I would suggest though is to make sure you're wearing the right size bra, maybe try booborbust. Would normally suggest Bravissimo (they start at a 28DD, but obviously they wont be open or when they do open they wont be doing fittings at the moment. The right bra can make a massive difference

@goose1964

The reason this happens is because the milk ducts disappear . It's only happened to me on one side so I'm lopsided ,one side is a G and the smaller one isnt.
They do WHAT NOW? how have I not heard of this?
Missanneshirley · 11/11/2020 23:23

My entire boobage must have been made of milk ducts then cos they've just GONE
And it really seemed to happen overnight.
I am fitter and more toned than ever and now sporting burst balloons, can't believe it.
Thank you for more bra recommendations!

"They do WHAT NOW? how have I not heard of this?"

Me neither. Nor did I know it could happen in one before the other. I remember they grew like that, having one breast but not the other in puberty. Didn't realise they'd disappear in a similar way at menopause Sad

Missanneshirley · 12/11/2020 22:55

Serious question actually...I have no signs of menopause yet, i don't think...would the disappearing tits happen with weight loss at any age/stage? Or is it peculiar to this stage in life?

I'm on for bra recommendations too! I've always been completely flat chested but I'm very thin from the waist up. I quite like the Next Mimi bras which are moulded and enhance your cup size by a couple of sizes. Next bra

"would the disappearing tits happen with weight loss at any age/stage?"

Most women's breasts get bigger and smaller when they gain and lose weight don't they? I don't know about totally disappearing...

Villanelle17 · 13/11/2020 13:18

Victoria secret bombshell bra for when you want cleavage and to increase the size

Tissima · 13/11/2020 13:57

You need some gel padded bras (Victorias Secret) and some ribbed, high neck jumpers.

YY to a good bra (Freya Deco in my case) and ribbed, turtle neck jumpers.
Although I do think I may be prosecuted under Trades Descriptions Wink Grin

Yes this happened to me!! I lost 3st and I think most of it was off my boobs. The weight loss coincided with it being 2 years since I had finished bf my second dc, so I don't know if it was to do with milk ducts (apparently they hang on, poised for a bit, in case you have another baby, which is why they don't shrink immediately? Don't know how true that is) or weight loss or a combination of the two.

Anyway. Took me ages to get used to my 'new' sillouhette, and how to dress for it. A whole new world of high neck jumpers has opened up to me now I no longer have a massive rack.

anditgoeson · 13/11/2020 14:13

Same, my boobs pissed off last year. They have no firmness left I'm gutted. I'm in good shape otherwise so I let that console me (even though it really doesnt). If I wasnt terrified of surgery I'd have them done.

isthismylifenow · 13/11/2020 14:18

Yes I have no boobs now. There is no fat in them at all after a lost a lot of weight post divorce. Most of it from boobs might I add. I even got a recall from my mammogram as it picked up a few things. Meanwhile they were just normal cysts that come and go. But because I have no boob fat they were very distinctive. I'd rather be thinner with less boobage though.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 13/11/2020 14:26

Mine too, although annoyingly because I also have a very wide cup, I am actually a 28d or DD which is nigh on impossible to find anywhere. I'm completely flat chested and can count my ribs through my boobs, and anything with an underwire is like an instrument of torture.

Smalltitsever279 · 30/05/2024 10:41

So I have had 7 kids at a young age im now 36 n I'm a A cup very disappointed that I can't get my boobs back to my happy B-C cup n bras don't help at all, I'm definitely considering a boob job. I can't take having a flat chest no more I'm only 5'2" n weight is 50kg so this has been a big issue for me for the last 10 yrs so sad 😞 please help I'm also using creams n that don't work either
