A unisex citrusy perfume that lasts?

Any ideas about this? I haven’t worn scent in years. I love citrus and more masculine scents but I don’t want overpowering.
I liked Bergamotto di Positano by Floris, but found it a bit cloying sometimes.

I have fallen for Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet. Very lemony male cologne. Churchill wore it apparently.

Another vote for Light Blue by Dolce and Gabanna

Lalalabrador · 07/11/2020 08:07

Tom Ford Fleur de Portifino?

I like Blood Orange and Light Blue, so I think this recommendation will be in the same vein. Calyx by Clinique is very fresh and citrussy.

ivftake1 · 07/11/2020 08:10

Light blue?

ivftake1 · 07/11/2020 08:11

@PearsMorgan

Sad but true. I have given up on my holy grail of a grapefruit scent.
Pomelo?

Love O de Lancome. Fresh and bright

L’Occitane Citrus Verbena. For long lasting citrus Acqua di Parma. I have lots of their EDT, colonia is very citrusy but I also love Essenza (and others!)
For a cheapy, Bloom from Superdrug, mandarin & lime.

Dior Eau Sauvage is my DH’s but I sometimes wear it. Also Armani pour homme dupe on Perfume Parlour is very good and very cheap.
I love citrus scents and wear Eau Dynamisante by Clarins which is citrus fresh with a little spice, Bergamotto by Montherme(inM&S), Cristalle Chanel. I used to like Issey Myake and CK One for fresh.I’d look on Perfume Parlour for citrus dupes as then you can spray throughout the day as they’re not ££££.

Oh and M&S Peony and Rhubarb. It's maybe a little bit sweeter smelling than you want, but it's light and fresh - also inexpensive.

Jenny Glow are similar to Jo Malone but way cheaper.

Benjispruce2 · 07/11/2020 08:33

Jenny Glow have a Grapefruit edp.

I buy verbena essential oil and add it to body sprays. It's not a lovely new bottle of perfume treat, but it smells nice.

MrDarcysMa · 07/11/2020 09:13

Origins ginger essence. Very citrusy and fresh,

TheFormidableMrsC · 07/11/2020 09:22

Eau de Lancôme. An old classic, lovely citrus scent and does last in my opinion.

TheFormidableMrsC · 07/11/2020 09:24

Also French Connection do a lovely reasonably priced citrus EDT. You can only buy it online or in store. I've just run out of mine so will be getting some for Xmas hopefully!

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 07/11/2020 09:28

Chanel Allure Homme Sport is the business, DH used to wear it and send me weak at the knees. I sometimes dab it in now if I'm going out and fancy something citrussy.

AngelicaSchuylerAndHerSisters · 07/11/2020 11:31

M&S Mimosa and Bergamot is lovely. Also it’s only about £12.

MrsMariaReynolds · 07/11/2020 11:39

Very old school, but CKOne is still one of my faves, and lasts a long time. I buy a mahoosive bottle from Boots each year in their sales.

I love Clinique Happy too, but that one doesn't last :(

PumpkinsPatch · 07/11/2020 11:43

D&G No.3 L'Imperatrice

MrsElijahMikaelson1 · 07/11/2020 11:48

Jo Loves pomelo is lovely and long lasting

withlotsoflove · 07/11/2020 13:53

D&G light blue ( as has been mentioned) but the intense version lasts longer!

FiorDiPanna · 07/11/2020 15:03

Hermes - Jour d’Hermes

UmmH · 07/11/2020 15:08

Chanel Chance Eau Vive is lovely. Citrus top notes. Doesn't last long, but has a nice moisturiser which can help top up the scent during the day.
