I've managed to get my gels today on fingers and toes. As soon as I heard the announcement I was straight on the phone to my nail lady Confused whilst some are stockpiling toilet rolls and pasta I'm just worried about having nice hands and feet Confused💅🏼

So what have you managed to squeeze in this week as a top priority Grin

Wellies 😂😂

Moominmammaatsea · 04/11/2020 21:44

Library books - and I was delighted to be able to offload the 60 books we borrowed on the Saturday before the last lockdown.

AcornAutumn · 04/11/2020 21:47

I couldn’t get to the library, bummer

I got a couple more sea salt handybands as I can see they’ll be needed for a while, then got tempted by this scarf.

I went on holiday for 24 hours

The only 24 hour period I've had off this year (I really ought to take days off occasionally)

ForeverBubblegum · 04/11/2020 22:01

I got some pictures of the kids done at max spielmann. I know it sounds ridiculous but my youngest was 6 months old in March, and we had been waiting for her to be able to sit up reliably to get some done. Never get round to it, and now I feel kind of guilty we don't have any fancy baby photos of her (I took my eldestevery few months when he was little). Also going to send copies to a few relatives we haven't been able to see all year.

Coffeepot72 · 04/11/2020 22:49

Highlights, fringe trim, eyebrows, bikini wax and pedicure. And I’ve had my car serviced!

SendHelp30 · 04/11/2020 22:53

Lashes, hair & finger and toe nails! The priorities! My boys go to nursery on Mondays so I spent my child free day wisely! Also queued for 36 minutes at Zara to get some more winter clothes & got some lovely ankle boots. Im lockdown ready!
Also got the boys snowsuits & wellies so we’re ready for winter walks!

Aparttogether · 04/11/2020 22:55

Two new pairs of glasses. I sat on mine during the last lockdown and I have been wearing them with one arm.

JocelynSchitt · 04/11/2020 22:55

Crisps....

... but ive already eaten them Blush

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 04/11/2020 23:13

In Scotland so still waiting on the axe falling, but I had my eyebrows done today, dentist last week, optician the week before, and hair booked for next week. These were all pre-booked though.

I’ve been buying bits of Christmas food and putting them in the freezer, plus a Christmas pudding, just in case it ends up DP and me alone - we’ve not been allowed inside visitors for ages, since September I think.

supadupapupascupa · 04/11/2020 23:20

Lashes dyed this morning, full body massage this evening, hearing test at lunch

Onedropbeat · 04/11/2020 23:25

Car service and mot

clary · 04/11/2020 23:26

Haha I asked this of a friend and she said everything she did was still allowed anyway (to be fair she has wfh for a few years).

I have been swimming every day since Saturday, tho that's probably only one extra day. Ds2 has gone to the gym and to footy training. I also went for a cappuccino this evening.

Wish I'd been able to get my eyebrows done 😥

Recycledblonde · 04/11/2020 23:27

Facial and hair coloured and cut, had the gels on my fingers taken off so I won’t be tempted to pick at them.

PickAChew · 04/11/2020 23:27

The fabric and thread to stitch some more pyjamas and a couple of Nani Iro tops.

applecatchers36 · 04/11/2020 23:30

Fully body massage this week. Hair cut week before and week before that the Dentist. Managed to stock up in Boots yesterday for all the essentials...

JaceLancs · 04/11/2020 23:30

Nails
Optician
Some Xmas shopping
Bought a new ring

greenlynx · 04/11/2020 23:36

I did refunds and dropped off 2 bags to the charity shop. Space is big issue in this house.

DarkDarkNight · 04/11/2020 23:42

Library books, and a leaflet about how to sign p for ebooks and audiobooks which I’ve been meaning to do for ages. A haircut and a bit of a fringe cut in as I was due a cut before the last lockdown and didn’t get one, I couldn’t face it again.

Cheesypea · 04/11/2020 23:47

I bought some trainers I've wanted for ages on Monday. I didnt get to the library however I picked up some great books at the train station book exchange -thanks kind strangers.

StCharlotte · 04/11/2020 23:48

Haircut at the weekend which had been booked for weeks and managed to change this Saturday's pedicure to this evening. Just got home from a "we must get together" girls' dinner and drinks with some neighbours which we'd been talking about for weeks and arranged for tonight just in time...

Apparently English women are absolutely looking their best this week Grin

Mermaidwaves · 05/11/2020 03:07

Hair dyed and trimmed on Saturday so no roots showing right now! I'm hoping I wont have to use a box dye again as last time it just didnt look great. I dye my hair a deep brown so hate my greys coming through. Its freshly cut so nice and bouncy which makes me feel better.

purpledagger · 05/11/2020 07:07

Body wax and eyebrows threaded.

I ordered my Deciem skincare (The Ordinary) on line as it's 23% off the whole range in November. That wax delivered yesterday.

Sooverthemill · 05/11/2020 07:31

@Aparttogether

Haha me too! I ordered mine beginning of September ( first trip out since shielding ended) and have been too ill to pick them up but got DH to drive me there on Monday. Thank goodness as I really needed my stronger prescription. And now we are shielding again....
wizzbangfizz · 05/11/2020 13:40
