OMG,

Received a free sample of this last week, Monday I thought I’d try it, I’ve never had so many compliments re a perfume! I absolutely love it, how have I not heard of it before?!

Throughout the day I can’t smell it anymore, yet when I walk past people ask me what I’m wearing? MIL came over last night and instantly asked yet I honestly couldn’t smell anything. I’m usually a Chanel girl but I can always smell that on myself, even late into the evening.

Anyone else like this perfume?

Just realised the above sounds like an ad Blush I promise you it’s not, it’s just been so long since I smelt a perfume that I liked as much.

You can get a sample set of all of them. There isn't one dud.

DSis uses this and raves about it. Her SIL gave it to her (her SIL has amazing style and this is one of those OMG perfumes that only those in the know use).

You can buy it in Harvey Nichols, not sure where else. I bought her some last Christmas, it is expensive but I think it really is worth the money if that is the reaction you are getting.

I got the sample set of 10 Escentric perfumes , liked Escentric 01 the best, but prefer a perfume that I can smell myself too. 😊

My SIL wears this, it's absolutely gorgeous.

XiCi · 04/11/2020 11:05

Its really strange. I got a sample last week after reading rave reviews. I cant smell anything at all but dd and DH said it smelled nice. It's a big part of wearing perfume that I actually enjoy the smell of it myself so not sure I want to wear it if I cant smell a thing!!

TheSeedsOfADream · 04/11/2020 11:05

I can't smell it on other people or me. Most people can't smell it on themselves but can on other people.
I went to the perfume exhibition at Somerset House a couple of years ago and it was one of the groundbreaking game changers selected because of this.

LifeInAHamsterWheel · 04/11/2020 11:09

I've only ever heard amazing things about it but what puts me off is that most people say they can't smell it on themselves and I just don't see the point of a gorgeous perfume if you can't enjoy the scent yourself? If I thought I'd get the benefit of it too, I'd definitely buy it.

SweetShopSurprise · 04/11/2020 11:54

I’m definitely going to order a bottle. In fact I might order a biggish sample size and then ask for a bottle for Christmas. Not like I’ll be going out anywhere in the next month so I don’t desperately need a bottle right this minute, but equally would like to trial it for a bit before asking for it so a bigger sample might be the way to go

I’m outside now, there’s just been a gust of wind and I’ve just got a massive whiff of it on myself again, how weird! I could definitely smell it on myself when I first spritzed it on. I think perhaps I just get a bit immune to it?

I bought this years and years ago. Didn't like it for myself, but they say it changes according to the person wearing it. Gave my bottle to someone else who now declares it her absolute favourite.

Buffythechillislayer · 04/11/2020 17:43

Omg this sounds amazing. I can't wear perfume as every one gives me a headache so to think there is one out there that everyone else can smell but I can't would be life changing! Where can I get a free sample?

Livy178 · 04/11/2020 17:43

It’s my favourite perfume and I always get compliments when I have it on , although I can’t always smell it in my skin but I think it lingers more on my clothing and hair

notbloodylikely · 04/11/2020 19:05

DSis wears it and gets so many compliments every time I’m out with her, it’s quite astonishing

Housewife2010 · 04/11/2020 20:49

I bought it a few years ago but unfortunately I've never had a compliment. You can but it from Cult Beauty. If you buy the 30 ml refill it's only about £36.

WobbleTime · 04/11/2020 21:01

I was thinking of getting this for Christmas, can anyone describe what It actually smells like?

grannyjacob · 04/11/2020 21:05

Any time I encounter anyone smelling unbelievably nice but that wee bit different, it's practically always one of the EM range they're wearing. The first time I smelt one of them was a young (compared to me) man standing in front of me in a Tesco checkout queue. I had to ask what the amazing smell was, honestly it was so yummy I wanted to lick him 😂 my daughter gave me a sample set for my last birthday, but I haven't tried any of them yet as I have quite a few other dribs and drabs of other perfumes to use up first, but there's a lovely if faint smell in the box itself.

Alternista · 04/11/2020 21:07

Oh god there was a thread about this last year and I nearly drove myself mad trying to understand it Grin

I really want some but it feels a bit like having a tattoo in a place you can never see!

Henrysmycat · 04/11/2020 21:11

Hated it. Ok me it smelled rancid. I don’t get people raving about and I haven’t smelled anyone that was wearing it.

Housewife2010 · 04/11/2020 21:15

My husband thought it smelt like oakmoss. There's a description of its notes on fragrantica.com.

cheezy · 04/11/2020 21:19

I used to wear it quite a bit. Don’t think I had many compliments and not sure I like the smell that much, certainly not as much as I love Pomegranate Noir.
Might dig it out and give it another go.

KnightsofColumbusThatHurt · 04/11/2020 21:20

This is the one that is supposed to smell different on different people and work with their natural 'scent' isn't it? I am intrigued I have to say...

bengalcat · 04/11/2020 21:23

Yes I love it .

JaneJeffer · 04/11/2020 23:50

But if you can't smell it how is it your favourite perfume? I don't get it!

AuntieMarys · 04/11/2020 23:54

One of my favourites
