Hi I joined the wait list a while ago and am being offered inclusion on the list for autumn 2020 - would love to hear feedback from any satisfied / dissatisfied customers ?
It looks lovely but there doesn’t seem to be much feedback online .
Don’t want to waste my money !
Thanks

I have been on the register since last summer.
I've kept two out of the last six seasons. You can return the ones you don't like for a full refund as long as you don't open the bottle & just try the enclosed sample.. So it's really a no - risk perfume buy. I absolutely love the two I have. They're citrussy summery ones and they don't smell similar to a anything else I've ever tried. And I have an awful lot of perfumes.

Midlifemission · 17/10/2020 10:34

Thanks Teta I didn’t actually realise you don’t have to keep it so that’s great news ! It looks right up my street as I tend to like quite unusual
Scents .
I think I will do it now

I started a thread about this last night too. I was offered a place last night as well. Teta, what did you think of the Autumn 20 scent? Are you keeping it?

teta · 17/10/2020 10:55

No, I'm not @ Housewife. I kept last Autumn's rendition as I liked it, but then found I just didn't wear it at all. So I ended up selling the bottle on eBay. The earthy Ffern scents are not really my thing but I fall into the spring/summer camp.
They're very unisex and can be interpreted as being pretty masculine. So if you're a real girly sweet/gourmand perfume lover then they may not be your thing...

Housewife2010 · 17/10/2020 11:41

Teta. Thanks. I do like quite masculine scents and really don't like sweet gourmand ones so it may be for me. I have far too many scents but it does sound an exciting concept. I'm tempted to get it as a birthday treat for myself.

Clettercletterthatsbetter · 17/10/2020 11:44

Me! I signed up in time for Summer 20.

I sent the summer scent back as it wasn’t nice on me - very citrusy scents smell like piss on me! I could see how it would be nice on someone else though.

The Autumn one is very me - I’ve kept it and am wearing it most days. It’s more woody and heavier which is more of my kind of thing. They don’t last very long on me but no less than other fragrances - it must be my skin!

Housewife2010 · 17/10/2020 12:21

Thank you. I've got to let them know by 8 tonight. I am very tempted.

Midlifemission · 17/10/2020 13:59

@Housewife2010 I have just signed up !
Thought I would give it a go as I too don’t like sweet fragrances.
If I don’t love it nothing lost.
It‘s also my birthday in a few weeks so I will justify it that way.
If I don’t keep it I might treat myself to this instead ...

@teta out of interest if you find a scent you love is there scope to buy more than one bottle ?
Thanks

teta · 17/10/2020 16:03

I think so @Midlifemission though I haven't personally ordered any extra ones yet.

Housewife2010 · 17/10/2020 16:10

They have limited stocks of past fragrances available to members in the archive section of their site.

Midlifemission · 17/10/2020 17:39

Thanks both am excited to see what comes!

Midlifemission
I've just signed up now! I'm really looking forward to it. We'll have to see what we both think.

Clettercletterthatsbetter · 17/10/2020 18:16

@Housewife2010 when I signed up I told myself I’d give it three ‘releases’ and if I didn’t like any of those scents I’d cancel. As it happens I really love the second one so I’m sticking with it!

I like that you can also pause it so you can skip a season if you don’t need any perfume at the time.

Housewife2010 · 17/10/2020 19:39

Clettercletterthatsbetter That's good to know. Thank you. I'm treating it as a birthday present to myself for next month. I'm sure if I love it I'll be tempted to get the next one too.

Panda368 · 17/10/2020 20:13

I signed up yesterday after being on the list for a while. Im probably a bit too excited about a mystery box of smell arriving at some point next week.

Housewife2010 · 18/10/2020 06:39

Panda368 Please let us know what you think when it arrives. Our post is very slow here so my parcel will probably be the last to arrive.

Midlifemission · 18/10/2020 21:17

Hi @Panda368 I am excited too ! I will
Also update on here when I receive
It !

Midlifemission
That's exciting. I hope mine comes today. Our post is very slow at the moment unfortunately.

Midlifemission · 20/10/2020 22:26

@Housewife2010 hope your parcel arrives soon.
I have given the sample a couple of tries now. I really like it - it’s definitely woody abs quite masculine as one of the PPs said.
I am veering towards cracking it open and keeping it but with a slight reservation that I might enjoy one of my old favourites just as much.
Something about the process seems to be making me overthink !!
Let me know how you get on.

OP posts:
Housewife2010 · 20/10/2020 22:42

Midlifemission Thanks for the update. Still waiting on our slow post. I like the sound of woody. If it makes you feel better I noticed on eBay today that ffern scents were selling very well on eBay - some for slightly more than cost price due to their limited availability. So if you open it then later regret it you should be able to sell it for a good price. I really didn't need another scent but the hard to get hold of process did make it appealing - the perfume equivalent of buying an Hermes Birkin? 😉

covetingthepreciousthings · 20/10/2020 22:48

I've been wondering about these, keep seeing ads for them on Instagram. I like the fact that you can try it and return the full size if you don't like it.

Housewife2010 · 22/10/2020 14:40

Panda368 What do you think of it? I'm still waiting for mine.

Panda368 · 23/10/2020 13:01

I missed the delivery on tuesday. so it has just been re delivered today. I have just put it on and I'm not sure so far.

It is VERY woody. But something about it reminds me of my mums 'christmas' perfume which is Clinique aromatics but I might be imagining it.
what does everyone else think?
