Anyone using Ffern ?

Hi I joined the wait list a while ago and am being offered inclusion on the list for autumn 2020 - would love to hear feedback from any satisfied / dissatisfied customers ?
It looks lovely but there doesn’t seem to be much feedback online .

I'm still waiting for it. Our post here is rubbish. I really hope it doesn't smell like Aromatics Elixir. I hated that scent. Many years ago I used to get loads of Clinique GWPs and that perfume was always in the sets.

I started this in the summer as I hate the idea of breathing in artificial scent all day. I kept the summer one even though it wasn't total love, (it smells more like a room scent to me). I was planning to send the autumn one back as that's alot of money spent on perfume in a short time, but I absolutely love it and have kept it! For anyone considering ffern I would say that the scents do not last long, this is due to the lack of artificial ingredients. I do need to reapply regularly. If the 'natural' side of things isn't important to you then you can probably do better with normal perfume in terms of choice and longevity.

@Housewife2010 it definitely doesn't smell of elixir. Just a certain note on it reminds me of my mum in a slightly odd way.

In terms of longevity - I sprayed it at about 11 this morning and I'm still getting wafts and can smell it on myself now at 5pm which isn't too bad.

still undecided about keeping it. its very grown up, but it might just be a shock to the system after using very limey fresh perfume this summer

Panda368 Thanks for the review. I'm getting really impatient now. I ordered it on Saturday and it was dispatched the following day with 48 hour RM. Our post is so bad at the moment. I used to give my GWP bottles of Aromatics Elixir to a friend. I made a mistake once when I gave them to her at the beginning of a night out. She doused herself in it then we had to sit next to each other at a concert for the next two hours! After that I always gave them to her as we were leaving!

@Housewife2010 I can't believe you are still having to wait.
I have used the sample every day but still not opened the bottle - I do absolutely love it though so am 99% going to keep it.
I love the idea that's it's low volume and more 'natural'.

I got this earlier in the week, my first from Ffern. I really like the fact you can return the full size and have used the sample a couple of times. I like it but I think it's too woody for me and very unlike what I normally wear. The fragrance feels very masculine to me so I've tried it on my husband today. Smells amazing on him and he likes it too. Haven't admitted how much this cost so looks like he's getting a generous present without knowing it

Still waiting. The post is terrible here. I'm worrying now that I won't receive any birthday cards next month.

Panda368 Thanks. I'm getting so impatient. I excitedly opened a parcel yesterday and was very disappointed when I realised it was three tubs of The Pink Stuff!

I am still eking out the tester but it’s been my fragrance of choice every day so I don’t think I will be returning it !
I really hope you like it .
As others have said it’s not a typically feminine fragrance at all but I like that about it.

It’s not similar and I am no fragrance connoisseur like the Perfumistas but it has reminded me of how much I used to love Jo Malone Fig and Cassis and I have now seen it can be bought online again having been discontinued so that’s going onto my Christmas list !!

It's finally arrived! I ordered it on 17th. The post has been lousy here, so it's not ffern's fault.
I love the packaging and there's a generous sample. I'm not sure what I think yet. It is masculine and at first spray it seemed quite powerful. I usually wear more subtle scents. I think it's growing on me though. I've just realised that it reminds me of the old Cosmetics To Go Smaragadine bubble bath. Does anyone else remember that? It's the patchouli note.

Housewife2010 thanks for updating and glad you finally got it!
I think it seemed strong at first to me as it’s different to what I normally wear but actually I definitely have stronger fragrances.
At least you can give it a good try before you commit - I am still on the sample but can’t see me sending it back now .

Oh, Ive just seen this so of course had to join the list😃 has the Winter one come out yet?

@EachandEveryone winter isn't out yet - I think they come around the solstice / equinox - so winter should happen around the 21st?
