Opinions on this coat....

What do you think of this coat? I just want something simple for casual every day nursery run etc that isn't too grumpy but I really don't want to spend a fortune

I like it! I was looking for a similar coat jn that colour but ended up getting one from next same style...

Looks very warm but entirely unremarkable. A horrible colour.

It's frumpy but coats like that are. It's perfect for the purpose. Look at Uniqlo for more interesting colours.

For the purpose you're looking at - totally fine. Looks nice and warm, albeit it won't keep you dry for any length of time if you get caught in the rain. Style wise, it's nice but it wouldn't be my colour of choice!

Haha! Sorry this made me laugh... Unfortunately I seem to have found myself firmly in this category

I'm not sure whether to just accept this as my fate! I think I'm finding myself more drawn to this look because most people I see on a daily basis are also in this category.

So ok I'm getting the vibe the colour isn't great... If I go with this style is black better? I would usually go for black but thought maybe I'd try a different colour this time

In my opinion, practical but very very ugly

I've got a coat just like this in black. The padded Parkers are really in fashion, even according to my 2 teen daughters who also have ones similar - and they're great in the crappy weather!
It's just the colour - black would definitely be better IMO.

I like khaki - the style isn't necessarily my thing but it looks practical and I am one of the few that like the colour!!

I'd buy it in that colour before I would buy it in black.

I like it - it looks really cozy. BUT I'd buy it in a rich colour instead, for a lovely splash of colour in winter - and if it comes in different lengths I'd go for a longer length so no draughty walking in cold, wet or windy weather or when sitting down. 🌹

The ones from Next are slightly more fitted and flattering. They come in a lot of colours too. I

I think the coat is a great style and shape. The colour totally depends on your colouring and what suits you. This colour will look stunning on some, even sophisticated, but draining on others.

Ooh, I want to change my vote. Now that I've seen e H&M link and see apic of it unzipped on the model it's lost it's appeal for me.

It looks awful in this picture but good on the model so I'd say go for it!

And a bargain at £49!
