Frizzy, colour & heat damaged hair? What’s your shampoo secret weapon?

I’ve been sucked into all manner of beautiful packaging / clever sales technique products over the years... (see bottom drawer, left hand side for dusty evidence of 😬)

Curly (with age), greying (see afore), thick (apart from the odd patch around the parting 🙄) hair. Takes ages to dry. Literally wets itself with excitement at turning crap with the first sign of damp/ humidity.

L’oreal Elvive colour protect / OGX /Palmer’s Coconut something or other etc etc etc All great at first, then coat my hair and leave it feeling unwashed.

CBA with Curly Girl ™️. Don’t want to be curly. Want sleek & shiny.

Is there a miracle shampoo & conditioner combo I need in my life? Does it exist? Hairdresser recommended some ‘WOW’ spray lately... £30. Fine. If it works. Aveda??

Any and all recommendations welcome 🙏

I saw a Nadine bag got video the other day that said there’s now an Olaplex step 0 which is like the salon steps (although probably not quite as high concentration) but you do it at home. Then you keep it going with step 3 afterwards

Yes, I’ve heard about that but haven’t had a chance to investigate yet - looking forward to it though!

Hi!! My hair sounds very similar to yours and I e tried sooooo many different ones including the pricier ones. I then came across ' gliss' by Schwarzkopf and I swear to you it is an absolute game changer! My hair has never felt so manageable and frizz free! The best bit, Poundland sell it! X

Another one for Olaplex!

I also have a Joico treatment I quite like and alternate them as Olaplex is fab but so pricey

I found using shampoo without silicone was the answer. Bodyshop rainforest range is good
