Does this dress look like it fits ok on me, basically how do I look? Just checking It doesn't look like It's too tight on me or anything.

I’m sorry but I think you need to size up so that the dresses fall better.I know you are losing weight but it will make all the difference..you can get away with a dress that’s a little bit big much easier than one that is too tight. The pink one does you no favours at all. The darker colours seem to suit you more OP.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 06/10/2020 18:49

The black one is great. Definitely get another one like that.

MikeUniformMike · 06/10/2020 20:38

What a nice thread, nd I didn't expect so many photos.

The first dress I really don't think suits OP at all and she looks so much better in any of the other ones, which are all great.

Actually OP looks terrific in all of them, but I'd get rid of the first one.

HalloweenIsGothChristmas · 06/10/2020 21:20

Your famous black one is lovely. You should defo get more of that style.

Dasboot · 06/10/2020 21:44

The famous black one really suits you. You look lovely in it. Do you mind sharing a link for it as being around your height I’d love to find a dress that looks so good . Definitely think you should look for more of a similar style/fit

Stumpedasatree · 06/10/2020 21:50

Black and blue spotty for me and absolutely none of the others, so sorry OP, but they look cheap and ill fitting. You look amazing in the black famous one and the blue spotty day dress. I would look for more alternatives in a similar style, the simpler the better.

seiki · 06/10/2020 21:51

How often do you buy dresses?!

Lolaloveslemonade · 06/10/2020 21:57

Blue and black ones are my favourite!
They really suit you and you look lovely!
Don’t bother with the frills or gathered sleeves (As seen on some of the others).

Lolaloveslemonade · 06/10/2020 21:58

I agree stump 👍🏻

violetrosemummy · 06/10/2020 22:02

Wish I had a social life like you to wear all these new dresses with a toddler and a 2 month old !

goose1964 · 06/10/2020 22:19

The blue and black ones are my favourites, the white one doesn't do you any favours. Your kids are really cute.

HP2020 · 07/10/2020 08:07

Thanks for all comments

I don't have much of a social life at all. It's non existent. I think that's why I like to dress up day to day. And when I am going out I just add heels and a nice bag and some make up

I lose a lot of weight in the last year and I'm proud of my new figure so I'm enjoying it. I buy lots of dresses as I prefer dresses to jeans.

Unfortunately I can't share a link to the black dress as I looked myself last night and it's gone but it was from amazon and they appear to have lots of nice dresses

OP here with a new dress which I love and think suits me wonderfully what do others think

How do I look?

Shape good but you need a camisole underneath (too low cut) and it again seems to be summery, thin material that won’t look right with tights. It’s mid October, you need warmth!

queenoflife · 15/10/2020 10:47

Hi yes I am gonna get a black vest. Don't see why it can't be worn with black tights and a cardigan however.

nutmegtea · 15/10/2020 11:22

I think you really suit the style of the dark navy dress with the polka dots on. Other than that you look lovely and all the dresses are nice on you.
