I don't have time to order anything online, this was the only thing I could find shopping today and I obviously couldn't try it on until I got home and now I'm panicking that I look like I'm going to a fancy conference and I have nothing else to wear

I haven't done my hair or nails yet so I will look slightly better than this. I might put a light fake tan on too?

You look absolutely stunning. It’s a great dress. I’m not a fan of the shoes. Do you have any others?

JustThinkingAboutThis · 27/09/2020 18:00

I think it depends on the kind of date. Is it a casual place you are going or to a fancy restaurant?
If you want to look more casual could you change your shoes and maybe wear tights?
But essentially if you feel comfortable and happy go for it. I do like the dress BTW.

Staringpoodleplottingrottie · 27/09/2020 18:01

If you’re going somewhere really fancy like an upmarket restaurant then it’s great and suits you, but it’s very dressy if you’re just going for a drink in the local

Myshitisreal · 27/09/2020 18:01

The dress is stunning on you, I would dress it down with chunky boots, tights and leather jacket or denim or something. Have a wonderful time, you look fabulous

RainbowParadise · 27/09/2020 18:01

I think you look fantastic but what kind of date is it? I tend to go really casual on dates- jeans, t shirt and trainers (local pub) 😁

CakeGirl2020 · 27/09/2020 18:04

Depends where your off too?

Nandos or some low end pub, I wouldn’t wear it

A restaurant that’s a bit up market, yes I’d wear it

Switch the shoes!

YellowUsername · 27/09/2020 18:06

Quite a fancy restaurant. These are the only other heels I have and they might be crushed velvet Blush

I agree - unlessgoing somewhere fancy Id wear black tights, ankle boots and leather jacket with that.

It's lovely and it suits you - where is it from please?!

Ginfilledcats · 27/09/2020 18:07

The second pair of heels look better. You look great have a good time x

Susannahmoody · 27/09/2020 18:08

Wear the crushed velvet heels

You da bomb girl ☺

Susannahmoody · 27/09/2020 18:09

Small detail but please wear that necklace too with the outfit. It really completes the look

MarshaBradyo · 27/09/2020 18:10

Yep looks great

CakeGirl2020 · 27/09/2020 18:11

Oh yes wear the velvet shoes!

tigerbear · 27/09/2020 18:11

Beautiful! Have fun!

Palavah · 27/09/2020 18:12

Ooh sorry x posted - in that case yes and crushed velvet unless it's raining!

MoltonSilver · 27/09/2020 18:13

Its a lovely dress. I'd be inclined to dress it down with black tights and different shoes.

Spied · 27/09/2020 18:20

2nd shoes are best.
Is this a first date?
If so I may dress down a bit with tights and ankle boots.

CakeGirl2020 · 27/09/2020 18:21

Why would you dress down for a first date? The OP has a lovely figure, you don’t dress that down!

YellowUsername · 27/09/2020 18:21

Ok I'll keep the dress. Tags off so I can't change my mind now! I'll go for the velvet heels too though I'm slightly more wobbly in them especially after wine Grin I bought the white heels today and they were more expensive than the dress so atleast I can return them and save some money. I'm not sure what I was thinking with them.

GoBackToPartyCity · 27/09/2020 18:25

Style it with the velvet shoes and necklace. No need to dress it down. You look lovely.

ChaChaCha2012 · 27/09/2020 18:25

The dress is lovely but the style of both sets of shoes is very dated and cheapens what would otherwise be a stunning outfit.

NancyBotwinBloom · 27/09/2020 18:27

Deffo the second shoes.

Let us know how it goes!

YellowUsername · 27/09/2020 18:28

These are the only other heels I have but I do struggle a bit to walk in them. The other two pairs are chunky heels and I feel less wobbly in them.

I like the white shoes actually and wouldn't wear velvet in September. Dress looks great.
