A good start I think! I slapped some on immediately. I'm not a huge fan of the way it smells but it feels nice.

Happy so far although not tried either yet. - only just opened #2 . I’ve never had one of these items before so will try today .

Couldn’t resist opening #21 - not surprised to find it empty...

Door No 2 is a lovely product. Been wanting to try something similar for ages so this is a goof size for that. And smells so good.

Like the look of today's but not going to open for a while as bought a La Roche posay tinted moisturiser not long ago. Might keep this one for when I can go on holiday again as it's a nice travel size.

Day 2: Dead Sea Spa Magik Beauty Balm

Pleased with this! I was actually thinking of buying a BB cream for those days when I don't want a full face of slap, but would like a little more coverage. I've just put this on and it smells lovely and the coverage is decent.

When searching for this product on H&B site, I also found out that they stock Lily Lolo which is my usual brand of mineral foundation. I'm quite chuffed with that as it means I can make use of my H&B card to get points and take advantage of offers. I usually buy direct from Lily Lolo and the best discount they ever do is free P&P occasionally, so that's a nice bonus surprise for today!

Good offering today! I'll save it to use over the summer months.

Slightly disappointed with the sample size as I'd ideally like a bit more product to make a decision on whether I'd repurchase but I'm being a festive Scrooge Grin

Last year's calendar products were mostly full size (from my recollection Hmm) so we were spoilt!!

Pleased with today’s. This was in the 2018 calendar so I’m glad to see it back. I love it and it doesn’t break me out like other BB creams have

I also had something slip down into door one yesterday. I just pushed it out of the way, it was in a flat sachet.

Haven't really used BB creams. Do you not use moisturiser as well? I'd worry I'd be too dry.

Happy to give it a go.

Also got a day cream on day 1. Need to use up some little pots from last year, then can crack on with the new stuff!

Must remember not to be disappointed on the 21st!

Day 3 - never used one of these before - I'm not really sure what their intention is so curious how it will feel on my (sensitive) skin. Pleased with it though.

In other news, I did indeed make my face up yesterday and was impressed with the BB cream. It glided on nicely and looked better than my usual L'Oréal BB cream.

I was very excited about this calendar and am wondering now if I should have put the £ towards one of a higher value Cult Beauty ...

I shall remain positive it gets better, H & B do so many great brands.

Oh and I did try the BB cream today instead of my usual Garnier.

The texture felt lovely and it smelt really nice too. I like the idea of it adapting to your skin tone, I've used an Origins one before that was similar.

Day 3: Evolve Hyaluronic Serum 200

I need to learn from my mistakes as I managed to apply far too much of this again! I really like the smell and it did feel nice going on. I'm always a bit unsure about the impact of serums - they feel luxurious going on but no idea if they actually do anything long term.

This one looks nice. Hoping it's good as it's £30 for 30ml on they link so it's pricey. Those mentioning the value, we got 10ml of this today which is not bad given the cost for the 30ml. I am happy so far anyway.
My door 21 is empty but nothing extra has cropped up in any of my doors yet so still hopeful it's there somewhere!
