I'll start. This is an Avon one - Unforgettable. I'm not usually one for pinks but I think it's glorious!

I think it id the Sam Chapman red lippie. No it is but I am not sure if there is a shade name or number. All the details on lipsticks are very small. Even wrse if you have left your glasses at home!!!

I quite like it, the staying power for the colour is really good but by the end of the day it can look a bit patchy and dry. Though I find most Matt lipsticks do that with me

Well, I lasted two days with no lippie! Sod it I am wearing it.

Thanks to a fellow Mumsnetter - I am wearing a dozen carnations (Mac).

Mac - Syrup. Not my usual taste but seems to go well with a smokey grey eye.

I love that some of the cheaper brands are my favourite.

I wore Mac's Werk werk werk the other day (got it as a freebie with purchase). Not liking it. Perhaps it is the powder formula. I thought it would be long wearing but nope.

Today (as mentioned on the other lipstick thread) I am wearing a lipstick from Poundland. A sort of pinky red but not loud called Raspberry smooth or smoothie (so hard to read these things!)

Laura Mercier Coral VIF a lovely orangey red.

It's Maybelline Matt Ink in Ruler again for me today, this is such a cheerful colour I'm hoping it will help me feel better now I've got a cold :(

I found a really old one today! It is actually the first lipstick shade I ever owned, although not the actual lipstick, its not quite THAT old :p

Boots 17 Shine On in Honey Frost. It's kind of frosty (duh) nude, little too light for me tbh although its one of those ones we thought suited everyone when we were teens!

I have two old Boots 17 ones! One is a rose colour the other is coral glow an old favourite of mine!

Today's is another favourite - Dior Rose Diabolique. despite being a pinky-red or reddy pink colour shows up a very muddy beige on the swatches online so I can't show you!

I am 50 today and have decided to have a complete lipstick cull. I used to wear red all the time but over the last 10 years I have gone much more neutral (I am cool toned so think Mac Faux or Estee Lauder Heather shimmer) but I have decided to go bold again so will enjoy studying your choices and treating myself!

Can I join you? I’m in search of a new lipstick. I think I want something fairly natural and long lasting. I can’t really do brights as I have a small mouth and it looks a bit funny. Has anyone tried Glossier Generation G?
