What footwear do you wear with jeans if not flip flops or winter boots

I have summer and winter sorted, but not autumn and spring. I suspect the answer to this is trainers, but not nikes - is lifestyle trainers a new phrase I have learnt today?

Any other type of shoe? brogues are work shoes to me, and its a no to ballet flats. I also get cold feet easily...

If you want smart/casual a pair of loafers are good. Patent ones can look good.

I also have some Nike trainer. They are suede and light pink and are great with jeans, ankle/mod shin length trousers and also if you wear a dress on a warmer day.

Plus mine were in sale for £40 - I would pay nearly £70!

Trainers. I wear ‘winterised’ trainers when the weather is bad. I also have some Grenson tyoe ‘hiking’ boots. Or Dr Martens.

Trainers, plimsolls, chelsea boots.

I wear black vans (comfiest trainers ever), White Stan smiths or black Adidas Campus. I live in jeans when not at work and despite loving the look of dresses/skirts with trainers, I look ridiculous (think it's because I have long legs and big feet ... I look a bit awkward )

I like Converse and Rocket Dogs but appreciate they're not for everybody.

I don't think it's too early to wear casual ankle boots, especially if they have some openwork areas on them (I have some a bit like these but not quite as beautiful, and I've worn them a couple of times recently).

I have some docs (shoes) as waterproof for winter, and if not too wet I wear my converse.
I'm 54 so no youngster, if that makes a difference.

Trainers but in vein of superga, vans, converse, etc. Mine are from Puma, Kurt Geiger and Jigsaw.

Chelsea boots or ankle boots. Mine are from Timberland, Jigsaw, Ugg and Hush.

Loafers/brogues. Mine are from Clark’s, Carl Scarpa and Timberland.

Also start to bring out my ‘proper boots’ (calf and knee high) on colder days. Mine are from Kurt Geiger, River Island, Superdry and Geox.

Every year around this time I develop a strong lust for a pair of Dubarry country boots. Maybe this year (not likely)!

Stan Smith are very squishy and comfortable on the feet, look good with jeans as well

I think it depends on the cut of jeans. Skinny jeans go with pretty much any shoe. I wear converse (high tops and standard) with jeans a lot. Autumn I will go Chelsea boots or loafers. If it’s dry I might do my vans half cabs (because they are a rusty orange colour).

Mom jeans I find a bit trickier- ankle boots and Chelsea boots work fine. Trainers can be tricky I find.

I also have a couple of straight leg jeans that go with most shoes but I do need to watch as these are the easiest to make me look frumpy if I get the shoes wrong.

I agree it’s hard to pair with these styles! I recently started wearing my Mom & straight leg jeans with hi top converse and turn up the bottom of the jeans to just above the top of the shoe.

fashion trainers eg. Converse, keds etc. Ankle boots

Loafers, ballet flats, some ugly slipper type teenage boy skater shoes...

These for the cold feet afflicted!
