Itchy not flakey scalp recommendations?

Something is making me itch Confused

We haven't changed washing powder and I'm using the same products as always. I've developed a rash on my body, particularly on my neck which is drying up. It's driving me mad, especially at night.

Our local pharmacy is closed for lunch now, later today I'm going to get some Betnovate cream for my body.

I'm taking antihistamines yet still I itch!

My scalp is itching too, I don't have any dandruff.

What's the best product you've found to ease an itchy scalp? If you know of anything that stops your body from itching that would be helpful too.

@AlexisOnFire

We can talk about whatever S&B thing you like MaosChaos Smile Selfishly, anything to take my mind off the itching and my general grumpiness!

In normal circumstances I love L'Occitane Almond oil shower gel, it's the best stuff for shaving my legs. I've got a L'Occitane gift pack of hand cream minis at home. I'll ask DH to bring them over. I've booked him a visiting slot for later.

Depending on the test results it looks like I'll be having an operation this coming week. I won't be able to get my front torso wet.
How should I wash myself?

There are some no rinse wash stuff that you can get (my ASD son has massive sensory issues so we have this and no rinse shampoo liquid for when it's particularly bad to get him in the shower) I know it sounds grim but might help for a little while? It's what they use in hospital/care homes for when someone can't get to wash their hair if bed bound.

For your feet/lower legs, what about some Soap and Glory heel cream? It has a minty/menthol smell and makes my feet go cold when I use it.

On another note I will try the ginger shampoo from the body wash! I get really itchy/flaky scalp and the only thing I've found work is H&S Sensitive scalp relief but don't want to use due to testing on animals.

Good luck with your operation if needed Flowers
