Sorry about the mirror splodges Blush That's children for you!

Saurus72 · 27/07/2020 14:54

That looks really nice, but nothing at all like how it looked on me! The shoulders went straight out to the side, v Vulcan.

neveradullmoment99 · 27/07/2020 15:06

Yes the black one kind of did that but the denim was softer.

Dottty · 27/07/2020 15:51
@Countmeout, I can heartily recommend Cheaney brogues & boots, as sold by Toast. They are made by hand in Northampton, and you can send them back to be repaired/resoled/re-heeled so that a pair of shoes can last you a lifetime. I have, ahem, several (I don’t event want to count) pairs.
@countmeout. I have just ordered a pair of Cheaney boots in their sale. I went for my usual 5.5 as no idea about fit. Fingers crossed.

Laska2Meryls · 27/07/2020 16:27

Rosebath · 27/07/2020 17:18

Oh no @Laska2Meryls hope you can make one of the later ones. I'll do one in August I think.

neveradullmoment99 · 27/07/2020 17:19

I have cheaney boots. Mine are in my normal size but I do find them roomy. Not huge but definitely not tiny.

neveradullmoment99 · 27/07/2020 17:24

Looks great @Laska. Loving the colour combo!

Alsohuman · 27/07/2020 17:26

Loads of very keenly priced Cheaney boots on Brand Alley at the moment if anyone’s interested.

faustina · 27/07/2020 17:59

Has anyone got the indigo twill trousers? Can you tell me how you wear them? Tops and on your feet? I'm umming and ahhing about whether I can make them work...

faustina · 27/07/2020 17:59

Cheaney boots look lovely btw ..

neveradullmoment99 · 27/07/2020 18:35

Cheaney boots are amazing quality. I have had mine for many many years.

Countmeout · 27/07/2020 18:46

Cheaney shoes and boots look wonderful. I like the monk shoes.
I’ll look forward to seeing yours @Dottty.

Which trousers do you mean @faustina?

Moominmammaatsea · 27/07/2020 19:19

I have a few pairs of the Victoria boots and the Amelia boots (in different colours / leathers etc) and I would say that they’re a generous fit so I certainly wouldn’t size up and you may need insoles even if you opt for your usual size, especially if you’re narrow of foot.

AFingerofFudge · 27/07/2020 19:24

I have these Cheaney shoes, and a black pair that I got on ebay super cheap a couple of years ago; they'd hardly been worn. I wear them with pinafores or trousers.

faustina · 27/07/2020 19:37

@Countmeout

pleat front trousers

Moominmammaatsea · 27/07/2020 19:47

Throws toys out of the pram and strops like a toddler because Faustina has MY trousers! They’re MINE, I tell you! Grin

Moominmammaatsea · 27/07/2020 19:50

@AFingerofFudge, I have the boot version of those shoes. They are the hardest working and wearing boots in my wardrobe and they still look in fantastic condition after four (?) years.

Countmeout · 27/07/2020 19:55

Ah @faustina do you have to tuck in with them? I’m afraid I avoid pleat front things.
Love that spice colour. @Laska2Meryls.
