Is this ok? Going to a fancy ish place tomorrow for meal and drinks.

It’s nice. Personally, I prefer “meet in the middle” rather than tucked in (but not long), but that’s my style. I wouldn’t go for a white top for a meal either. I would be dreading a “blob” with food and/or red wine. But you are probably not a messy b like me! Have a nice time.

The top is extremely casual, could work with lunch, I'd smarten up for dinner. Enjoy your date and meal out!
