Does anybody have any tips on face wash? Something that won't cost much, but is effective.Smile

I just use the Aldi one in a green tube. I only want it to remove my sunblock and oil etc.

SummerOlive · 29/06/2020 18:26

@Fluffycloudland77 thank you, there are so many branded care products nowadays it is hard to find something cheap that works.

Do you double cleanse? If I’ve worn mineral sunblock I use grape seed oil, wipe off with a warm flannel then use face wash.

I like the Garnier Micellar water with added oil (it has a yellowy label and you can see the oily film through the transparent bottle).

@Fluffycloudland77 yeah, I'm kind of new to the self care thing, I was so busy before COVID but then I had time to think about it and now I have tried so many different things (mainly from home bargains) but some where not so good. Smile

Aldi is good, and cheap. Ditto Lidl.

SummerOlive · 29/06/2020 19:57

@Fluffycloudland77 yes thank you for your help Smile

I really like super drug products. I use their glycolic peel as a face wash, it cone with a Muslin cloth and makes my skin amazing. I use micellar water to take make up off and then Superdrug glycolic toner. The peel and toner are about £6 but always on but 1 get one free. I then use the ordainary retinol in squalane and freezyderm 50 sunscreen in the day. I've never liked my skin but this routine makes it so much better and it's all cheap as chips.
Another thing that made a difference is the eyebrow razor things off amazon that gets rid of all
The peach fuzz and makes me skin look so much better

MadamShazam · 29/06/2020 20:36

I'm loving CerVe Smoothing Face Wash just now. Its £9 on Amazon, but a little goes a long way so the bottle will last ages. I've really noticed a difference in my skin since I started using it.

Another vote for super Drug. The naturally radiant range is cheap and my skin has never been better. I switched from Estée Lauder! Saved a fortune.

SummerOlive · 29/06/2020 21:20

I actually have an eyebrow razor and that has done wonders. I may need to get some more of those! I didn't really do much with my skin before I had all this time so it's nice to try out some new things. I must get shopping soon to try some new thingsSmile

I found this for you in case you haven’t seen it. I don’t think skincare needs to be expensive.

FirstClassFlightHome · 30/06/2020 06:47

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish.
