Hello!

There used to be a lovely what are you wearing today? thread(s) on here for people who were plus size (circa 16/18 and up I think).

Could anyone tell me if they've seen one lately please? If there isn't one on the go, would anyone be interested in joining me on here?

I'm size 16/18. Today I'm in a New Look floral dress and DM boots. Pic attached (hopefully).

Thank you for that description. I am not sure I would count myself as either edgy or cool though.

Sorry, pressed send too soon. I had a fiddle with the green dress last night. I have unbuttoned the sleeves and drawn in the string in the middle so the skirt part flares more, and I like it a lot better. I couldn't find a good belt last night, but will try it out with one. Thanks!

I've just taken a punt on one from cos, which I then have attempted to cancel, as I realised I really didn't need it. I was just tempted by the offer!

It's this one... I mean, MAYBE it will be nice? Or maybe it will get cancelled. Who knows? Will report back.

But then I remembered I have a christening I am going to be Godmother at and actually that might work? It's actually not a christening, but a naming ceremony at my gorgeous and very stylish friend's amazing house. I think it might be perfect for that actually...

I've gone for a bit of a movie theme today 🤓🤓🤓.

Here I am in a Jurassic Park tshirt, from Etsy, blue skinny jeans and black, Pozu high tops, with Star Wars, Rebel Alliance theme! I'm not even embarrassed.

I've a site meeting today so its black trousers from Next size 16 and a long sleeved purple top from M&Co. I love this top as its a soft rib fabric. Will be wearing with some fugly flat black mary janes as there will be lots of walking.

I'm on annual leave this week (hurrah! First time off all year). Spending it in the garden hopefully. Was hoping for some decent weather to make up for my cancelled trip to Greece but it's "changeable" so will probably alternate between shorts/sleeveless top and leggings and jumpers.

Today’s outfit - old pinafore.

Yay for annual leave Charlotte, but sorry you are missing your trip! I love Greece! I've only been to the islands, but absolutely love it there.

We've done this trip a couple of times so on the one hand I can imagine being there, on the other hand, I know what I'm missing!

Currently in a navy denim miniskirt with a vest top (and a cardi!). I also have a woolly wrap to hand. Very annoyed to have missed all that glorious weather while I was stuck indoors working. Ah well, it's just nice not to be working.

I've branches out today and am wearing a short smock dress from Miss Selfridge with a pair of black Snag tights. No leggings!

(Apologies got awful photos, I've spent years avoiding being in pics and have no idea how to do selfies)

@Cocobean30 ! Oh Lord, don't look at my bland decor! It's magnolia on neutral on white on grey here 😂. Newish build house and young dcs, so we haven't really done much by way of interesting decor.

@ChequerBoard that's a lovely dress & good fit. I would like some thick jersey dresses. My proportions don't usually seem to fit standard sizing that well.

Dh is on annual leave this week so we are holidaying. Off to the seaside in a mo & booked on at one of the family's favourite restaurants will have to try to enjoy it while also being a bit freaked out at being out. First outing for this monsoon dress & hoping the wind doesn't blow it that much so my chub rub shorts are visible through the slits!

DH isn't off until the end of August, when we will probably do something staycationny or maybe try and book a holiday cottage. Just not sure whether to do that, as things seem to change so quickly with all the CV stuff.

Lovely dresses this morning. I like the little flower print on your dress, Chequerboard. I have a couple of dresses that are similar that I like to wear in the autumn with tights and a cardigan.

My floor is fake stone. It is some kind of linoleum. It has underfloor heating so in the winter we don't get cold feet.

I have lots of pinafores. If this thread is still running in the autumn and winter, you will be seeing a lot of them!

Today its my newly arrived denim dungarees from Shein, i love them, feeling a very retro 80’s vibe as this is something i used to wear back then

I am so glad to have found this thread. I have put on weight in lockdown and feel so frumpy now.

I don't think I have a strong sense of style which doesn't help. I see some new websites to check out though which is great!

I'm off to the Zoo today with my family and was looking forward to wearing something fun, however its forecast to rain all afternoon :( I am wearing green craghopper walking trousers size 16, black size L M&S cotton t shirt, and a purple skull and rose print hoody from EMP size XL.
