@Wildernesstips it’s Paris! My favourite city bought as a total surprise by DH while I was living in hospital with DD and I’m 100% DD1 put him up to it

Going out for the first time this year! Love this dress but not sure if it's a bit too dressy...

So weird to have a reason to dress up. Completely forgotten how to straighten my hair and apply make up .

My new Sweaty Betty sale hoody arrived. It's from the Fearne Cotton range and although I don't like it quite as much as the One Hoody (no thumbs goles and sweatshirt material rather than fleece), I am going to keep it.

I am very jealous of how good you all look in jeans. I think I just don't have the right shape for them. I'm size 10, heading for 12 in lockdown but will get back to a 10 when I'm more active, and have shortish legs (not quite short enough for petite). Waist is small hips and thighs are broader but not massively so, just enough that skinny jeans are uncomfy and look daft. Ones that are supposed to look baggy don't look as baggy as they should. The best jeans I've ever had were vintage cigarette leg and relaxed skinnies from next but they don't do them now. Any suggestions?

@feelingfragile try gap for cigarette or mom jeans. M&S are highly recommended!

@feelingfragile how about a cropped straight leg? So quite slim but not skinny, ending just above the ankle to add length to the leg.

Thank you both, I do like the slightly cropped ones so will have a look at those and wouldn't have thought about M&S.

I'm not great at shopping so tend to do it all online which doesn't help 😂

@feelingfragile cropped always good, I'm only 5'1. I only ever shop online as I can't get to actual shops.M& S are a good price and easy returns so you could get a few to try the return the ones that don't work. Try mid rise straight cropped. Mango are also recommended at the moment as are H&M. I think it's good to get a cheaper pair before splashing out on expensive ones though!

It's our wedding anniversary this weekend. Didn't fancy running the gauntlet of newly-reopened pubs so we got a bit more dressed up than usual and my parents cooked us a fancy meal at their house and looked after DS for a bit. It was really lovely.

Dress - Anthropologie
Earrings - unknown, an independent jeweller with a stall at a horse trials and, annoyingly, I've lost her details.

Worn with tan heeled ankle boots from Boden, but I'd taken them off by this point of the day. Hope everyone has had a lovely Saturday.
