Have a look at the crew clothing jersey dresses. They are casual but well cut particularly for a figure like yours. I own 3 of the same design because I love them so much!

@Victoriabun I'm 5ft 7.

I'll try it on again when I'm back from my run and tie it a bit higher and tighter.

I'd have a look on ASOS or Boohoo. Amongst the teenager stuff there's some nice things and cheap.

Maybe more your style? I also saw an ad forHellbunny dresses which looked good, but a bit pricey by my standards and haven't tried, but they looked quirky.

Thanks for all the tips guys 🌷

Don't do it. And especially not with those trainers. It really doesn’t flatter you. You can do a lot better.

DavetheCat2001 · 04/06/2020 10:31

I am going to do it.. more likely with the white pumps I have ordered as it feels really goodtowear and I think with a bit of adjustment will look ok.

Good OP! I think it’s a great casual look, shows off your figure without being too clingy and dressy.

DavetheCat2001 · 04/06/2020 19:21

Thanks @Buggedandconfused ( love your name!)

Tried it on again with wedges and tied it a bit tighter. Bit bloated at the moment so loosened it again!

Also tried the FF dress on again, tying it at the back rather than the front.

Both are really comfy to wear.

@DavetheCat2001 it looks great with wedges too. It’ll be really versatile. You could wear a thin long sleeve top under it too perhaps for another look. I like the other dress too!

marigoldsmarigolds · 04/06/2020 19:45

Debenhams have some surprisingly nice dresses at the moment and lots are 50 % off - lots of midi styles. Worth a look.

DavetheCat2001 · 04/06/2020 19:57

Thanks @marigoldsmarigolds

Woll have a look.

Much better with wedges!

skippy67 · 05/06/2020 08:48

Boring yet fussy is exactly right.

Fishfingersandwichplease · 05/06/2020 12:56

Nice but a funny length

Looks good on you and it's a lovely rich bright colour

inappropriateraspberry · 05/11/2020 07:52

It's nice, but I don't think it fits you well. It seems a little shapeless at the waist and I think you would suit a more fitted shape.

CharlottesComplicatedWeb · 05/11/2020 08:20

It looks too big, as if the knot is supposed to give it (and you) some shape. Is it fir more of an hourglass person?

You’ve a lovely shape, go down a size 😊

MoltonSilver · 05/11/2020 08:44

I like fat face dress tied at the back. The Boden one is ok but a bit Summery (assuming you're in the UK).

The bed quilt, however, is fabulous.
