For day wear?

It's very comfy, 100% cotton so really nice and cool.

Is it frumpy though?

Lovely dress but the converse ruin it completely. I would do a simple white canvas trainer (e.g. superga) or a delicate sandal.

Cosmosgrowinmygarden · 02/06/2020 13:32

Very nice OP!

PhoebeFriends · 02/06/2020 13:34

Looks lovely on you - and the patchwork quilt is beautiful!

Mascotte · 02/06/2020 13:36

It's nice and doesn't look frumpy as you're so slim and wearing it with the converse.

happyandsingle · 02/06/2020 13:37

I don't think it is.Its quite flattering on you and would look nice with a pair of sandals.

Toilenstripes · 02/06/2020 13:37

It looks great on you, not frumpy at all.

ChewChewIsMySpiritAnimal · 02/06/2020 13:38

I think it is frumpy. It's just slightly too long.

DavetheCat2001 · 02/06/2020 13:50

Thanks all.

Going to keep it I think.

MoltonSilver · 02/06/2020 13:55

I like it. I'm not 100% sure on pairing it with the Converse.

Pinkpepper9 · 02/06/2020 14:03

I love it! Especially with the converse!

DavetheCat2001 · 02/06/2020 14:19

I'm a bit of a converse fan!

Have sandals I can wear with it too.

PerditaProvokesEnmity · 02/06/2020 14:24

It's ... ok. The shape and pattern are fine, only the neckline seems a bit throwaway.

I would ditch the fabric belt for a very good quality leather belt to sharpen up the whole look.

trinity0097 · 02/06/2020 19:21

Where is it from?

DavetheCat2001 · 02/06/2020 23:40

@trinity0097 it's Fat Face

OP posts:
Bellsandwhistle · 03/06/2020 00:08

Verging on frumpy. Agree fabric belt needs dumped for a better belt. Better white trainers too.

MyBlueMoonbeam · 03/06/2020 00:10

I like it apart from the belt 🙂

MyBlueMoonbeam · 03/06/2020 00:11

I would match belt to Converse but I'm a bit of a coordination freak 😆

Bananasplitlady · 03/06/2020 00:14

Love it with the Cons, I have a slight shudder at the thought of sandals, but that's just me!

Lardlizard · 03/06/2020 00:16

Can you tie the belt bit under the bust ? Would look even more more flattering then I think
Still look fab though either way

Africa2go · 03/06/2020 00:19

Frumpy (knew before you said it would be Fat Face or The White Stuff). You have a fab figure and could wear much nicer less-mumsy clothes!

dontgobaconmyheart · 03/06/2020 01:29

Sorry OP, you have a fab figure so it obviously doesn't look 'bad' but it does almost nothing for you. The colour doesn't really suit your skin tone or hair tone and it seems at odds with your style so looks off somehow.

Since fat face is overpriced I wouldn't keep it. I think it would be much more flattering as a skirt paired with a top rather than just a block of the same fabric.

LittlePesto · 03/06/2020 01:57

I think frumpy, from the belt and the neckline.

fallfallfall · 03/06/2020 02:27

BoHo chic with the trainers only if mid 20’s or under. Can’t imagine it looking nice otherwise.

EmperorCovidula · 03/06/2020 02:53

I really like it.

Bimbop5 · 03/06/2020 03:18

I love it and I love the converse!
