I think the Kiehl's one is one is meant to be good.

marmiteloversunite · 27/05/2020 21:56

I like the Nivea factor 50 facial suncream/moisturiser. No white residue and smell is not overpowering.

Etcni · 27/05/2020 21:57

La Roche Posay Anthelios XL - I have the gel one as it's anti-shine but I think they're all factor 50+. I think the range is on offer in Boots at the moment.

DianneWhatcock · 27/05/2020 21:58

La Roche posay is amazing

minemineminemine · 27/05/2020 22:04

M& S sell one which is nice & light factor 50.

I did try the altruist one on amazon, which is often recommended, but it was heavy & I wasn't convinced it was genuine!

Lalalabrador · 27/05/2020 22:16

Murad face sunscreens are excellent.

Fridaysgirl · 27/05/2020 22:18

Body Shop
Skin Defence Multi-Protection SPF 50

Very lightweight, easily absorbed, sits well under make up

Skylucy · 27/05/2020 22:18

Following! I wouldn't recommend the Elizabeth Arden 8-hour sun defence cream (SPF 50) - it's very thick and makes my (sensitive) eyes water, which was a real disappointment.

tigerbear · 27/05/2020 22:29

Biore Watery Essence is one of the best things I’ve used. SPF 50.
It’s about £8 on Amazon
Not greasy in the slightest, sinks in immediately, no spots from it (I’ve got very sensitive, Acne prone skin)

tigerbear · 27/05/2020 22:29

Oh, and it’s an amazing primer!

Stinkyjellycat · 27/05/2020 22:30

Another vote for Biore Watery Essence

gnatgnu · 27/05/2020 22:30

Ultra sun is fantastic

stardance · 27/05/2020 22:31

I've tried a few and settled on a Superdrug Solait one. It's a matte one which really I like, so many seem to leave my skin shiny or greasy. It means I can apply my powder foundation over the top easily. Mine is SPF30 but I think they also do a 50.

doubleshotespresso · 27/05/2020 22:32

Freely deem is fab and doesn't irritate me

doubleshotespresso · 27/05/2020 22:33

Freezyderm

cloudspotter · 27/05/2020 22:33

I need one of these, but even the facial ones make my eyes feel like agony and puff up. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, it gets in my eyes somehow.

Anyone got the same problem.andcfound something that works for them?

jelly79 · 27/05/2020 22:35

Alumier MD do a matte or hydrating SPF. I use the matte one in replace of foundation all year round. Have never missed foundation since using it x

Wilberforce1 · 27/05/2020 22:36

What @Etcni said! I'm fair and freckly and I've never been burnt while using it.

CurlsandCurves · 27/05/2020 22:37

I use the Superdrug factor 30.

ladykuga · 27/05/2020 22:39

I second tigerbear. Biore Watery Essence is AMAZING.

houseforanartlover · 27/05/2020 22:51

Dermalogica's Solar Defense Booster SPF50 is fab, a little goes a long way and it's invisible. It's a must-have product for me.

mrslebon · 27/05/2020 23:14

Another vote for Biore Watery Essence.

atomicnotsoblonde · 27/05/2020 23:29

Altruist - you can get it on amazon

cloudspotter · 28/05/2020 17:38

I bought the Roche Posay gel one from Boots after seeing this. It's arriving next week so I'll report back then. Grin
