Is this jumper nice or am I swayed by the price?

I have just received this jumper - silk front, pretty colour and good price but is it a bit plain? It looks ok on but nothing special-not sure it would become a classic staple In
my wardrobe -think I am being taken in more by the 70% Off. Thoughts please.

I don’t think it looks v nice.
The model has fantastic bone structure but even she can’t make it look nice. It looks like it’s going to show every lump & bump & there is something off with the neck line.

I don't like it. Unflattering shape and sheen.
Looks old-fashioned too.

It's OK in a functional kind of way, but a bit boring. Doesn't go with the trousers the model is wearing. I don't understand why it's described as 'batwing' either!
I think Jigsaw is overpriced anyway, and you've been swayed by the 70% off possibly.

No it's not flattering. It doesn't look good on the model.

It's easy to be swayed when it's been massively reduced. I find TK Maxx online difficult to resist.

I'm not keen Op, it's not a flattering fit for most people.

I don't think the description is that jumper? It doesn't have batwing sleeves and I can't see that it has a dropped back hem either.

It's pretty boring. And am I the only one thinking the model needs a decent bra?

Based on how it looks on the model I wouldnt buy it.

If is cold enough for wool then it is too cold for silk. You will always be a combination of too hot and too cold wearing this.

How is that batwing?

I'm puzzled by Jigsaw's use of the word 'batwing' in the title of this sweater. Clearly, whoever named it didn't live through the 1980s.

It looks a tad drab to me.

I don't think it's boring. I love the colour. I think it could work well as a foil to other more attention-grabbing pieces e.g with a better trouser (the ones on the model are bad beyong belief), and some really good boots. But the high neck and strange shape means it's not going to flatter many people. I also suspect the silky fabric would show every lump and bump. You'd need a smooth bra.

Can we see a photo of it on you?

My general rule of thumb is that if a professional model can't make something look good then us mere mortals have no chance. Though the model does need a bra intervention!

It's horrid (sorry) and I really dislike that particular colour as well.

It's a no from me, and batwing? It really isn't!

I love the colour and I know that colour would suit me but the model looks awful in it (definitely needs a different bra!) and if those were the best shots then it's going to look like a dogs dinner on my lumpy body!!

It’s a bit to shiny for my taste.
