Dungarees - do these suit me or do I look like a nob!?

I've toyed with getting some for years, and am trying to have more variety with what I wear

Do these look ridiculous or nice!? Honest opinions welcome!

They look nice but for me they're too short in the leg. I'd want an extra inch or 2 or turn them up so they are meant to be properly short.
I'd also wear them with trainers.

Just going to be honest. I don’t like them because they could be better. I think a slight ankle grazer length and tapered leg would look nicer. And a slightly lighter denim wash.

Some people have asked how tall I am - 5ft 7

I am wearing them now (with the tags on!) - they feel a bit odd since they sort of hang off your shoulders so I'll have to get used to them

They're cute, but my 11yr old wears them so I just see them as kids clothes

They look well on you OP, they leg cut suits your figure but dungarees in general - they look 'cool' in photos if styled well but in in real life walking around out the house I'm not sure the vibe is the same at all. I'm not a fan of them and would rather just get a modern cut of jeans which I'd feel comfortable in and get the wear out of.

Looking good in something doesn't make it necessarily worth keeping. As with anything, if I wasn't sure, felt a tit or won't confidently wear it out- it goes back.

I love them, I've got a v similar pair, also short ones and long skinny black ones.

I have a dark blue denim pair which I once accidentally paired with a mustard jumper. A colleague asked me why I'd come to work dressed as a Minion... I thought the look was vaguely familiar somehow

@heartyrebel does your 11yo wear socks too? T-shirts? Jumpers? I get what you mean I suppose but I think dungarees are no longer the preserve of children or workers. They're available in every shop seemingly. My just turned 13yo nicks my dungarees all the time.

OP those dungarees have a very low bib so will keep slipping off your shoulders. I don't buy ones like that on purpose.

I wore these yesterday for example (not a picture of me!) and they don't slip off your shoulders as they have a more sensible bib.

OP i think you look brilliant. If I had a figure like yours I would wear these and whatever else i fancied. I ordered a pair from Lucy and Yak last year but I am much too portly round the middle to carry them off and i am mid 50’s but the quality and cut was absolutely fab.
