Dungarees - do these suit me or do I look like a nob!?

I've toyed with getting some for years, and am trying to have more variety with what I wear

Do these look ridiculous or nice!? Honest opinions welcome!

You look fabulous they're lovely on you. I can't wear them due to looking like a jelly baby but I've always hankered for a pair. I hate the skinny leg ones so love yours!

I think to pull dungarees off you have to be tall ish and fairly slim - I'm short with hips so the reality of dungarees is totally different to how I imagined it in my head 🤣

I've caved in and am on the fat face website but at 5ft3 I think I'd be better with the cropped version

They make most people (adults) look like a nob. However, you look fab. I love your hair, aswell.

The main reason I want to loose weight is so I look good in dungeers! I love them. You look great.

Honest opinion? I don't think they are flattering. But if you don't want to flatter your figure (no reason why you should) then wear them.

Dungarees by definition aren't going to "flatter" and the OP has no need to worry about a "flattering" fit anyway as she's clearly got a great figure.

I'm normally in the "dungarees only belong on toddlers and decorators and John-Boy Walton" school of thought, but these look really nice on you so I shall get back in my box.

OP, I think you are one of the very few people who look good in dungarees. I look like a minion.

I now have the Lewes ones in black and the Claydon ( cropped wide leg) in blue and I love them.. I bought them in April and I haven't worn full length dungarees since about 1982 and shortie ones since pregnant in 1990 so I was a bit surprised. I think to avoid CBBEEBIES look, don't wear a striped top., OP you look great, keep them

You look really great! I want a pair but cannot seem to find a pair suited for a tall person. I’m 5’ 11” and a 34” leg and it’s like searching for loo roll in a pandemic trying to find any which might fit!!

You look how I wish I looked in them! You've styled them really well.
I'm short and quite round so I would look ridiculous in them. Most people who are short are also thought of as childlike in my experience and while I don't usually bother with what others think, the comments I'd get from my family aren't worth it.

@ItsLeviOsanotLeviosA I’m 6ft with a 36” inside leg and I wear the tall originals from Lucy and Yak and the denim atlas in a 32” are plenty long enough too.
