10 Fragrances for Life

There's a popular Youtube video called the above and I thought it would be fun for us to list our all time favourite perfumes.
I was thinking about this as I was going through a memory and found an old diary from 10 years ago of my favourite perfumes and it hasn't changed much at all!
I also would love to read everyone's lists as with lockdown, I'm really missing smelling new fragrances in department stores - spring is usually a big launch time and I can easily lose an hour immersed in the fragrance halls! Instead I'll go down a Fragantica rabbit hole!!

Cabotine!! Omg in the green bottle - I used to drown myself in that in 1995. May have to get a bottle to reminisce.

I don't know any of the 4160 Tuesday scents - somethings telling me it's a Facebook page or something? I don't do Facebook #dinosaur

Lou Lou was my first ever fragrance aged 15 - I used to hide it in my wardrobe as my DM didn't approve but then obviously she could smell it on me as it was one heavy scent - I loved it but haven't smelt it in years.

What a lovely thread! I'm a perfume blogger (iscentyouaday) and funnily enough I'm about to post an article on where to get perfume samples under lockdown since we can't tour the perfume counters. I'll post a link when it's done

Anyway, my current top ten (it changes all the time) is as follows:

@JMAngel1 was a bit embarrassed when first asked to smell it in Selfridges.I referred to it in the full name but the woman called it Fabulous I felt 100% the working class woman that I am at that moment!

I love this thread - it’s made me so happy! I have a huge collection of perfume, I happily collect samples for birthdays and Christmas ☺️

Andy Tauer - L’air Du Désert Marocain - Every time I wear this someone asks me what it is , great for evening or hot summer day.

Penhaligons - Halfetti - A masterpiece that my 16 yr old DS wears as well .

Zoologist - Either Hummingbird or Nightingale- both pretty

Tom Ford - Tobacco Vanille - for a beast of a night out

Creed - Virgin Island Water - the ultimate summer spray

Van Cleef & Arpels - Van Cleef - powdery and sweet

Jo Malone - Pomegranate Noir - just a beautiful lasting smell

Balenciaga - Rosabotanica - lovely Floral happy smell day or night

Aramis - New West - the beautiful pine/ sea scent is a blast from my teen years . Very disappointed with perfume parlours dupe - not a touch like the original beauty

Beaufort - Fathom V - Bit of a cheat as DH wears it . Beautiful cedar/pine Xmas smell

Just tried a new one today that may make a favourite . Got my sample pack from Bloom London and loved Komorebi by Pierre Guillaume. It was the smell of a warm summers day with sweet meadow grass. Just not very long lasting 😟

I must be the only person on here that doesn’t like 4160 Tuesdays . I’ve got a fair few samples and they just don’t last on me .
Same with Juliette has A Gun🤔
