I don't want to go back to foundation

Loving the non makeup look but feel I need something to look polished when the time comes to go back the office.

I am a YSL Touche Éclat Le Teint devote (b40) but it just seems way way too much now. What's the middle ground for pale but uneven tone skin?

Can I ask, how do you all apply your B.B. cream? I've just been using my fingers with my No.7 one, but I'm wondering if I should be using a sponge or brush like I would for my foundation? Perhaps B.B. creams aren't the right consistency though?

I think you can do either. I like fingers but then I like fingers for foundation.

@Blueblackrose where did you order from that you could also get samples?

Another vote for Erborian BB here. I've got Clair and thinking of getting it again with the slightly darker shade too and mixing them as I'm not that pale and will probably tan a bit in the coming months.

It is lovely and only came across it as I couldn't get my usual Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser - which I have since bought when they came back into stock and have not yet used!

Apologies I have the CC not BB ! Not sure what the difference is really.
