Dry, cracked heels

I have quite dry cracked heels.

I have one of those school foot files that spins and that helps take away a lot of the hard skin (you know where it gets hard and scratchy?) but it doesn’t quite get rid of it. I’m sure I need to keep doing it but it just seem like a never ending task. I’m trying to moisturise every night.

Would be grateful for help / advice / tips

M&S foot file. Nivea cream in the dark blue pot, cotton socks. A couple of times a week.
I have a heated underblanket on my side of the bed. My heels are dried out from it. Smile

It is just a moisturiser, from what I can see, and not a magic dry skin melting wonder 🤔

Well, it days it has fruit acids so it might do some exfoliating.

I'd make sure you're using a urea one. The Boots one is fine, three days of every day use and my heels are much better. Mine's just run out because this thread reminded me to use it this week!

Oh you might be right @VanGoghsDog

My feet feel ok now tbh I’ll definitely have to keep up to them and see if I need anything else but that horrible hard spikey feeling has gone. They’re a bit dry and left foot feels much smoother than right foot Hmm

This has been really helpful though as I never would have realised things like wearing flip flops make it worse

So this is my update. Showered about half an hour ago and haven’t moisturised, feel smooth and much softer. I’m pleased!

And I haven’t even had to spend any money.

That's good well done - maybe tlc is the answer?

BunnytheHoneyBee · 25/04/2020 20:07

@Neouf Yeah I’m not sure what changed as filing them and moisturising didn’t seem to be doing the trick. Maybe I wasn’t doing it consistently enough but then I only did it a week this time around and got better results 🤷🏻‍♀️

Ureka cream!

SouthWestmom · 27/04/2020 01:47

I would love some eureka cream! Maybe for my 11s...

Op keep it up then, looks like the more concerted effort works well

I received the above yesterday. After just one application of the hygiene cream my feet now look amazing!!!!!!!! You're supposed to use it every day for two weeks and then use for maintenance afterwards. So much so I ordered another set today. I haven't even tried the hand and foot cream yet as still working through others.

I got it on easy pay. If you look on her website, the set would cost £180!
