I know this has probably been asked before, so sorry.
My hair is needing the hairdresser!
To make do, I will use a purple dhampoo, can you tell me my favourites? Thanks

Following because I brought my first bottle from my salon for £££ and it's starting to get low.

Matrix - total results - brass off FWIW

OatcakeCravings · 15/04/2020 21:39

I second Matrix Brass Off. Get the shampoo and conditioner.

I use fanola yellow and aveda blue. Aveda one works well as well as nourishes hair. Fanola works better but can dry hair out a little.

TableNiner · 15/04/2020 22:58

I’ve been trying the Violet Crush from John Frieda which I’m impressed by

EmmaC78 · 15/04/2020 23:03

I use Fanola, as others have said it does dry your hair out so you do need to use conditioner afterwards but a bottle lasts ages. I think I have had mine a couple of years.

Yellowcakestand · 15/04/2020 23:15

Deffo Fanola. It is strong and does stain hands but it's great, even put it on dry hair for half hour for extra boost before hair wash. It does have a distinctive smell. Buy from Amazon.
I don't like touch of silver, doesn't lather enough and never really feels clean.

Loveagoodbook · 16/04/2020 08:51

Thanks everyone, I'm none the wiser as you have given me so much choice! 😂

Fudge

Tinkletwat · 25/04/2020 04:34

Fanola (I love the smell). Provoke was really drying for me and I needed loads of it.

Tableclothing · 25/04/2020 04:51

Pureology. The blonde conditioner. Buy it online as it can be pricey. Ime the Provoke stuff wrecks your hair.

Lauren83 · 25/04/2020 04:56

I use the Fudge Clean Blonde damage rewind shampoo and conditioner, lathers well and smells amazing too

fedupwiththisshitnow · 25/04/2020 08:17

I like Mood shampoo

Cheeseycheeseycheesecheese · 25/04/2020 08:22

I use osmo super silver, makes my hair a brilliant silver/white, I do have to wear gloves as it turns my hands purple 🙈
My hairdresser recommened it and I picked it up from our local Salon supplies, you can get it on amazon though.

I like my hair to have a lilac tone so tend to leave it on for about 10/15 minutes.

Barkingfuckingdogs · 25/04/2020 09:46

Fanola. Hands down the best. Nothing else compares and Ive tried em all. I hate the smell of it but it's worth putting up with. V high pigment, so you must wear gloves. For the love of god though, don't put it on dry hair for half an hour. You'll be bloody purple!!
