I know this has probably been asked before, so sorry.
My hair is needing the hairdresser!
To make do, I will use a purple dhampoo, can you tell me my favourites? Thanks

Provoke Touch of Silver

Zinniasout · 15/04/2020 08:37

My sister uses Pro-Voke Touch of Silver. Her hair turned from yellow to the most beautiful silky platinum.

Loveagoodbook · 15/04/2020 08:39

Thank you, I have the pro voke one at the moment, I'm not overally impressed yet, but I've only used it twice, so maybe I need a few more uses for it to work fully.
I'll look into the L'Oréal, thank you

Daddy-o from lush works well and smells delicious

TeddyIsaHe · 15/04/2020 08:40

Tigi Bedhead Dumb Blonde shampoo. Crap name, excellent product.

Mc2020 · 15/04/2020 08:40

Would seriously recommend Fanola - it’s what my hairdresser uses!

Ohmymg · 15/04/2020 08:41

Fanola No Yellow, it’s by far the best I’ve used. Available on Amazon and fairly cheap(it lasts a long time)

Ohmymg · 15/04/2020 08:41

Oh and use gloves!

CeeceeBloomingdale · 15/04/2020 08:42

Osmo is the strongest colour

Janaih · 15/04/2020 08:42

I have the Loreal professional shampoo and john freida crushed violet conditioner. Lee Stafford one is good too.

30not13 · 15/04/2020 08:44

Provoke is ok but better used dry in hair and left for between 10 and 30 mins before wetting lathering then rinsing out.

bert3400 · 15/04/2020 08:49

Osmo is the best one I've tried, Amazon sell it. But you need gloves as it stains even after a few seconds on the hands

Bleach London

parttimepunk · 15/04/2020 11:56

Fanola works well but smells rank.

I'm convinced Bleach London is the same as Provoke only in a fancier bottle and at a higher price.

Lush Daddy O is good, but if you leave it on too long it will turn your hair pink.

My all time favourite is fudge clean blonde. Smells amazing and is effective.

Retailqueenie · 15/04/2020 12:25

I just bought Elvive purple shampoo as my highlights are in a right state - this worked a treat - using with Batiste dry shampoo for blondes which covers the grey too. Wink

TrickyLicky · 15/04/2020 12:45

Definitely Fanola!

whereiscaroline · 15/04/2020 12:45

Have you bought the intensive Provoke one that you leave on your hair for 5 minutes or just the regular daily shampoo? You need the weekly one to see a difference IME.

Quicknamechange7 · 15/04/2020 12:55

I'm trying Maria Nila - on Amazon and Sally. Seems less drying than Provoke.

CatBatCat · 15/04/2020 13:21

Direction Violet hair dye diluted in any white conditioner

MushroomTree · 15/04/2020 13:57

Bleach London Silver shampoo.

Northernlass99 · 15/04/2020 16:24

Bleach London is awesome. You can get it in Superdrug (they deliver). Sometimes I leave it on for ten mins and put a shower cap on, then rinse off. It stains your hands so rinse them. The conditioner isn't worth bothering with.

SuperDuperJezebel · 15/04/2020 16:47

@Quicknamechange7 I LOVE Maria Nila purple shampoo. I've got a small one and then I've bought the Lee Stafford one to use afterwards as I'm a bit skint, it's really good too.

Narcsrus · 15/04/2020 21:22

Osmo is the best and the one my hairdresser recommended (she is a colour technician for Aveda) they also have a toning hair styling spray

Gin4thewin · 15/04/2020 21:28

I have fanola for orange (blue shampoo) and another bottle for yellow which is the purple, it does dry your hair out so i use it 1st then wash my hair again with something else and condition. I got a big 1ltr bottle from amazon, its bloody good stuff and the massive bottle lasts ages
