May I say what lovely children you have???

whomovedmychocolate · 13/09/2007 20:29

Okay....sure you want to do this?

Can I be completely honest?

lulumama · 13/09/2007 20:30

different shaped clothes

am crapola at this, but will try

more fitted stuff gives you more of a shape

am also a little more curvaceous than i would like to be, but you have to make the best of what you have!

you look like you are quite tall, so wear wedges to lenghten your legs and make you look more statuesque

hair colour is quite dark, maybe a little lighter, low / highlights maybe

you look lovely, and your children are gorgeous, and you have had 3 in very quick succession

Nemo2007 · 13/09/2007 20:30

please be honest...

whomovedmychocolate · 13/09/2007 20:31

That red and white top is doing nothing for you. It shoudl be ceremonially burned . Clothes that are too big make you look fatter, you would do better in tailored tops which have a bit of a shape.

You are managing to smile (this is good - you seem to have many kids - this is amazing!)

You have nice eyes, it'd be good to have hair that framed your face a bit more so they stood out a bit more.

MascaraOHara · 13/09/2007 20:31

dogs

I think different shaped top, bit of make up

whomovedmychocolate · 13/09/2007 20:31

What is it you want to change btw? Body shape, weight, style, colours?

Nemo2007 · 13/09/2007 20:32

lulu the hair colour is dark, I only did it last week and dont like it as much as other colours so will redo when I have some money.

I am 5ft 8 but do always wear very flat shoes..will look at some with a wedge.

You have lovely children. You're all very smiley in the photos too. That makes every human being look prettier/cuter/more handsome (delete depending on whether one is talking about man, woman or child!)

I like the colour and the shape of the hair, but maybe some softer layers?

Also maybe a slightly different top. I am also large in the chest area, and I find round necked tops never do the best for my figure. I know it sounds like Trinny and Susanna nonsense, but v-necks make the best of my, ahem, assets.

Nemo2007 · 13/09/2007 20:33

thanks who moved..to be honest the top like a lot of my clothes are my mums cast offs!!! I just feel like I want to rehaul myself..including loosing weight but obviously not going to happen over night.

ooh yes, I am religous about the benefits of an expensive bra. If you can take out a second mortgage and get to London, go Rigby and Peller. Otherwise, Bravissimo.

I feel a bit mean saying that, but you did ask us to be honest. And you did call us dogs...

Nemo2007 · 13/09/2007 20:37

pmsl TMMJ I know they should go into the bin...as for the bras I know I need to go and get measured as I remember the wonderful feeling when I had some nice ones for my wedding day but they cost an eye watering £98 for 2!!! Tend to stick with Doreens with no wire which is a trend I have got stuck in with being pg so much the past 4yrs!

Right Nemo I'm going to say it. YOUR MUM IS MUCH OLDER THAN YOU! Her clothes say I'm SIXTY. You are clearly much younger. Why are you dressing like a frump?

I just lost 3st 4lbs with Paul Mckenna cds - might be worth a go? Also if you have no clue on clothes, book in with a Debenhams personal shopper, you don't have to buy anything but just ask for advice and try on lots of different types of clothes (try ANYTHING even if you think it will look stupid - you may be surprised) and then when you've worked out what's good for you, leave and shop locally and cheaply for what actually works for you (I'm the Queen of Oxfam myself despite being able to afford designer gear because the cut is better for me if I get something that was designed in the 50s/60s.)

Good for you for being brave enough to tackle things though - it's hard to start but each move you take towards how you want to look gets you closer to what you how you want to be.
