Nemo - I lost a lot of weight after DD3 was born. I had been slobbing around in big baggy maternity stuff for a while after she was born but when I started to diet I really found it helpful to try and make sure I got a couple of things that fitted me well every time I went down a size. As others have said, Primark is a good place for buying cheap and cheerful - buy an outfit in size 20, sling it out when you get to 18 and reward yourself by getting a new one and so on. It really helped keep my morale up through the dieting when I knew I looked as if I had taken trouble about my appearance. And take a friend for advice when you go shopping - but not your mum!
I am large of nork as well and they have headed far down south after bf three kids so I second the good bra advice and the v-neck top thing. I'm going to say this because I am the dress queen - but have a look at dresses - easier to wear than you think and can give you a better line than separates.

Can I also just say that I think you are very pretty and your haircut is good but it is just a little severe, maybe next time you get it cut have a few layers cut into the front so it frames your face better.

Origenia, what are the books about?

Nemo, Hello

When you coming back to the sw board so we can encourage you along?

I echo the bra thing.. I swear I used to look like I had 4 breasts as there was so much spewing over the top of my bra! Until my sister dragged me into an underwear shop & demanded I get measured!!

I have a fre bravissimo bras & quite a few Freya ones too, they are so comfortable.

Also have to agree that you may be better off with underwire bras & binning the too big tops Buy some in your own size.. as sometimes close fitting clothes help your figure

You're very pretty!

Fat Girl's Guide to Life is about a fat chick who tried everything to be thin and finally decided, to hell with it, she'd rather be healthy than thin, and discovered that she actaully was healthy -- it is somewhat of a myth that you have to be really thin to be fit. The rest of the book is about accepting yourself no matter what size you are.

The B Myth is all about the Beauty industry and how it makes economic sense for this industry to convince women they are inadequate in order to see them more products.

I am the first to admit to loving my products, so I am kind of a hypocrite, but the book did change the way I saw myself and helped me get some perspective.
