Just bought this in the sale. Iooking at it I love it! But was wondering what it'll look like on. I'm 5'5 and size 16-18 do you think you need to be tall and slim? Anyway general thoughts welcome cx

Not my cup of tea but if you like it , get it

Dowser · 22/03/2020 19:42

If you love it..enjoy it
It wouldn’t do for me..chucked all my unworn brown out ages ago
I don’t like that length on me either...feels old fashioned and yes little house on the prairie, Amish like..but then you’d probably hate my clothes too

Chrestomanciscat · 22/03/2020 19:43

Well thanks for the replies and opinions folks 👍 when it arrives we shall see! For the record I have very dark brown hair an an olive/sallow skin.

lifeisgoodmostofthetime · 22/03/2020 19:58

I really like it. Will look fab with statement earrings and a lovely bag

shiningstar2 · 22/03/2020 20:11

I like it. At only 5 ft tall I'm too small and dumpy to pull it off but if I was taller [and slimmer] Grin I would go for it.

Wouldyoubemyamericanboy · 22/03/2020 21:31

No it’s not great but I think I’d have to see it on for a final verdict. Looks a bit shapeless in the picture

Riverviews · 22/03/2020 21:37

I don't mind the pattern but I really dislike the shape

goose1964 · 22/03/2020 21:53

I'm old enough to have worn dresses like this in the past. If you hit the coloues, which you sound like you will it's vfine.

CuppaZa · 22/03/2020 21:56

No. Maybe on a tall and willowy person. No one else

vegas888 · 22/03/2020 22:15

Nope

Fozzleyplum · 22/03/2020 22:18

Love the autumnal colours, but the style is very "'70's lampshade", so it's a " no" from me.

pilates · 22/03/2020 22:22

It could look nice on the right person

Bezalelle · 22/03/2020 22:37

Heinous!

LellyMcKelly · 22/03/2020 22:43

If you live on a farm in America in 1857 then yes, it’s perfect.

goldenorbspider · 22/03/2020 22:44

I just think that there's nicer dresses out there

fantasmasgoria1 · 23/03/2020 04:48

The colours are like 70s curtains pattern. But it's your choice.

MaryLennoxsScowl · 23/03/2020 06:54

I like it! Real vintage vibes and very in!

thedevilinablackdress · 23/03/2020 07:28

I like it. They do it in red shades too. And a top version, which I almost bought yesterday.

MoltonSilver · 23/03/2020 08:25

I've tried a few dresses that shape. Some have been really successful and some home been a disaster. You'll just have to try it on and see.

Oldraver · 23/03/2020 09:01

M+S had a very similar one a few years ago but flowered. This is almost as awful as that one

Insertdeadcatsnamehere · 23/03/2020 10:15

Love it!

copycopypaste · 23/03/2020 16:19

No

fishonabicycle · 23/03/2020 16:42

I like it but am too short and would look like a technicolour dalek!

SecretWitch · 23/03/2020 16:44

If you love it, wear it!

I would look like a jacket potato with cheese If I wore that dress.
