I do keep thinking should I get one I can use daily instead...I just don’t know...The way it’s going so far I’ll be getting mine for my 50th instead of my 45th, so at least have plenty of time to think it over! 😆

Oh i have no problem justifying it, heh! Collecting beautiful bags is my hobby. It’s more that I’d love to be able to carry it often but tbh I’ve already got several tote and mid to large carry bags so I need to focus on small, top handle and evening, now. I’ll probably just have to get both. 😉

Ah well, in that case it's more about filling the gap in your collection with what you don't have then. I had lots of smaller bags but no real every day bag before I got that LV, so it was definitely needed!

I actually really like yours! Maybe I’ll go for that one too, in the same print/lining as it’s my favourite colourway. Hypothetically, of course, since I’ll have to save twice over then! It’s just such fun to imagine having allllll the pretty things...

Anyway. Back to the simpler (and more affordable) things in life:

I’m at home in my dressing gown and pretty slippers, with a fresh cup of coffee and watching a handbag vlog on YouTube. The sun is shining and for now, everything is ok. I hope anyone who needs it can find a way to find peace and calm today.

@dudsville Birkenstocks are lovely, I'm a big fan of the sandals over the summer and this winter I was treated to a pair of fluffy mules which I wear as slippers at home - lovely and super comfortable!

@chocolatesaltyballs22 that purse is beautiful, a very pretty colourway. It's my favourite style of purse. I have a very old (~20 years) LV purse in that kind of style which I adore. It's only now showing slight wear and tear, I've stopped using it for fear of damaging it beyond repair :(

I recently received some earrings and a necklace from my Mum for my birthday and then ordered the ring myself from the same collection. It arrived at the weekend and actually fits ( I think I have fat fingers but they apparently look normal to everyone else!) I’m guilty of saving jewellery for ‘best’ so I’m enjoying making an effort to dress up my everyday outfits with them.

Oh yes every day is ‘best’ when it comes right down to it - more relevant now than ever, I guess - and it’s so nice to get full enjoyment out of lovely things! Have you got a photo of the jewellery or a link? I love jewellery! 😊

I got myself an Osprey backpack which was an impulse buy in TK Maxx; it had one of those red bargain stickers on it. Black leather, grained. Silver hardware (I have nothing gold, not even zips. Don't like).

I have found the perfect rosy nude lipstick if you happen to be a warm skinned blonde, it's Extreme Pink by Clinique. But honestly it's not extreme at all just really lovely and flattering x
