After several years contemplating it, I've cracked and bought this &Other Stories bag. I love it.

Ninkanink · 13/03/2020 20:59

Ohhhh how nice, I love a good handbag! 👍👍

I bought some lovely green earrings today . Far more than I’d normally pay (£50 ) for costume jewellery but they are handmade. But I loved them, wanted them and I can afford them so that’s that! And when I get back from my holiday they will be a nice reminder. And nobody else will have a pair!

MoltoAgitato · 13/03/2020 21:04

I bought these brogues:

www.nps-solovair.com/products/s5-811-bur-g?variant=28825770098752

Been lusting after them for ages but they only just came back in stock in my size. Good idea for a thread, OP!

InArrears · 13/03/2020 21:10

Those brogues are delish Molto.

I am currently getting all my clothes from Stitchfix and absolutely love the surprise of it. Every other month, I usually keep a couple of things, next one is the 2nd of April and I haven't had shoes for a while.

Ninkanink · 13/03/2020 21:23

Love the brogues! A favourite colour of mine.

Do you have a photo of the earrings or a link, @MrsGrindah?

I love green.

Not that I'm trying to lead people astray but h and m have a members sale on.
I just got a T-shirt, shirt and a pair of boots for £39.

troppibambini · 13/03/2020 21:34

@EdithHope I love that bag I've been lusting after it for ages!

ShellsandSand · 13/03/2020 21:57

I spent all my boots points the other day and rediscovered Ponds cold cream. Can't believe I ever stopped using it, always just been sucked in my high end products when they don't benefit me in the slightest. I haven't bought myself anything new for the wardrobe in a while as I'm trying to lose weight but I did splash out on two Kanken backpacks for my kids and we have been on the hunt for vintage badges and pins to decorate them with. It's been so fun. Felt abit unnerving pinning badges to £80 backpacks though ConfusedGrin

Ninkanink · 14/03/2020 00:12

@troppibambini a shopping haul is always fun and even better if it’s a bargain!

@Bella2020 I love the colour, so soft and very cheerful.

@ShellsandSand I’ve always meant to try it as I’ve never really had to do anything with my face but I’m mid forties now (just about) and I need to start looking after it. Looking for vintage pins and badges sounds like a lot of fun.

Pleased with a great hair cut today and next week I'm going for a colour consultation in central London. I've been wanting to do it for years and have been trying not to buy many new clothes until I find out what colours will suit me best.

SapphireSeptember · 14/03/2020 02:11

I have just bought 20 Revlon lipsticks. They were cheap and on offer (4 for 3) and some were colours I've never had before. (One of them is a navy/black shimmer and the other is a greyish-lilac, both of which I've been dying to try but were really hard to get hold of in the UK.) Some of the others were available in the UK, but I've only just got around to getting them. Smile
I LOVE Revlon lipsticks. I've just seen they have a new range of matte lipsticks (including navy, grey and black) but of course the colours I want aren't available in the UK. Hmm

BusterGonad · 14/03/2020 03:32

SapphireSeptember I love to hear about your revlon lipsticks I'm tempted to purchase a few of their new cloud lipsticks but all the good colours have sold out where I live.
My most recent purchases are 2 new dresses, locally made with 100% handwoven cotton and natural dye, hand made too. They are a bit more ethic then I normally wear but I love them.

RuggyPeg · 14/03/2020 08:20

I've just had cheek fillers for the first time ever. I'm 48 and my face has started to look like a dropped pie! I only had a tiny bit and it hasn't really been enough to have a real effect, so I'm going back on Monday.

I've also just had another IPL and electrolysis session for my red veins. That's worked quite well, although I need a bit more round my nose.

Am doing a strong peel too this morning. I love a full on assault on my face!!

SapphireSeptember · 14/03/2020 10:41

@BusterGonad My obsession with Revlon lipsticks knows now bounds. Grin I had to look up those cloud lippies, they look so pretty! I want Orange Meringue. Envy I hope you can get the shades you want. Smile

These are the matte ones I'm talking about, that grey is gorgeous. 🖤 I'm hoping it's true grey, a lot of grey lipsticks are blueish grey, which is nice, but not what I'm after.

BusterGonad · 14/03/2020 17:10

SapphireSeptember I wanted the coral, apricot, Berry or mauve. All I can find are the pink (001) or the scarlet. I'm a bit bored of pale pink and red! I'm actually also listing after L'Oréal rough signature liquid lipstick in either the purple Berry or I Enjoy which is the burgundy. I love lipstick! 😆

BusterGonad · 14/03/2020 17:11

Oh and the second link didn't work for me! 🙁

BusterGonad · 14/03/2020 17:12

Sorry about the typos.

Ninkanink · 14/03/2020 19:19

I bought this lovely, very subtle, Estée Lauder lip balm and the Benefit Dandelion blusher recently, to wear to my wedding. The colours are so pretty I get happy just looking at them!

Great idea for a thread OP! It's been too quiet on S&B.

I've bought the Primark £2.50 foundation as suggested on here and I'm very impressed with it.

I'm trying the Floral Street samples I got for Christmas to see if there's one I'd like for Spring. So far I like London Poppy and Iris Goddess. Less keen on the Peony and Rose ones.

Bioprepper · 14/03/2020 19:47

I bought 2 pairs of wide leg trousers from next today. I havnt work wide leg since before I had 12 year old DD, I’m always in skinny’s or slim fit. I look amazing in them and I can’t wait to wear them next week.

I’ve also bought some stila one step corrector primer and it’s amazing! It evens out my dark circles and red nose perfectly in one step!

Miseryisabutterfly · 14/03/2020 20:10

@EdithHope I got that bag for my birthday last month after wanting it since August! I love it so much.

Miseryisabutterfly · 14/03/2020 20:12

I received these during the week. Cheap and cheerful but so lovely on. Bottega Veneta vibes (just like the bag!)
