What is it and why do you love it?

Mac Lady Danger, orange toned very bright and bold. Or Russian Red, blue toned red I love both and choose depending on my mood.

WickedlyPetite · 10/03/2020 14:47

Mac Lady Danger.

Loads of people seem to love Ruby Woo but it's too blue for me.

Oliack1417 · 10/03/2020 14:54

Mac 'so chaud' - it's just the right red for my colouring.

MadisonAvenue · 10/03/2020 15:01

Mac Dangerous, Lady Danger and Style Shocked. All are warm toned and suit my colouring.

I can’t wear Ruby Woo as it’s blue-toned, like a lot of reds, and looks awful on me.

professionalnomad · 10/03/2020 15:01

Red lipstick is my signature so I have a few!

Mac's Ruby Woo
Fenty Beauty Uncensored Stunna Lip Paint
Jeffree Star Red Rum liquid lip
Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Mysterious Red

I cycle between these during the week

Lindylooboo · 10/03/2020 15:06

"O" by Mac. It's a beautiful coppery red that looks different on different people. Can go on light or darker with more application. It's been my go to red for many years.

Thinkle · 10/03/2020 18:27

Lady danger for me too

CMOTDibbler · 10/03/2020 18:29

MAC Russian red

CoconutAmericano · 10/03/2020 18:33

averythinline · 10/03/2020 19:32

This is my specialist subject. I favour an orange red. Per pp, MAC Lady Danger, plus Laura Mercier Rouge Fire. Hourglass Raven, and Lisa Eldridge Velvet Morning. For more blue reds I like Marc Jacobs Oh Miley, and Lisa Eldridge Velvet Ribbon. As an all-rounder, I like Smashbox Bing. I generally prefer a matte finish.

itallwentwrongat30 · 10/03/2020 21:51

MAC Russian red

Dior 999

lexiepuppy · 10/03/2020 23:36

Mac Russian red
Mac Ruby woo

Ratonastick · 11/03/2020 11:08

YSL 01 for me. I have also found that the No7 red tinted lip balm is a really nice sheer red when you need something a little lighter weight.

Thistlepicker · 11/03/2020 11:09

Marvala Venetian Red

xmaskitkat1967 · 11/03/2020 11:47

Q for all your Lady Danger fans - what lip pencil do you use with it - i cannot see an obvious match?

PhoneTwattery · 11/03/2020 11:57

I don't know Sad

It was the only lipstick that I truly loved and it got robbed in my bag in a nightclub about 20 years ago. It was from Avon in a green tube.

Ladyglitterfairydust · 11/03/2020 14:53

Smashbox Bing is my favourite. It’s a true red shade that’s matte but not too drying. I also really like the colour of Harlow red art stick by Bobbi Brown but the staying power is rubbish.

Judystilldreamsofhorses · 11/03/2020 15:40

xmas I use MAC Spice - a nude - with all lipsticks.

ThanksForAllTheFish · 11/03/2020 19:56

I love MAC chilli. I’m a very pale redhead and the orange red tone works well for me, much better than most reds that appear to have a pinky/ purple undertone. It also works very well with Asian skin tones from what I have seen and read online.
I also have MAC Russian red for a change of look but the chilli does suit me better.

babysnowman · 11/03/2020 20:02

Nars Manhunt

Mydogatemypurse · 11/03/2020 20:04

I own 456899775434567 red lipsticks and my favourite is estee lauder bar red. The purest most neutral red. I own 3 incase they discontinue

FloraGreysteel · 11/03/2020 20:05

Dior 999. It's perfect.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 11/03/2020 20:09

Ruby Woo, but it's drying
Chilli is lovely
Brave - have I got the name right?
Going to check out Lady danger
