Lilac with glitter for me!

Delighted to see this. I need inspiration for a family event next month. I've been black or navy since Christmas but I need something more Spring. That lilac is lovely @JaceLancs

These are mine, I always go for something different every time. I've had plain bright red and bright glittery red, so this time went for a darker shade and more subtle glitter red. My lady knows me so well and always comes up with designs i love.
And yes I always have them this long, and no I don't have any difficulty managing with them, even with a 4 and a half year old, In fact I got a soak off and complete new set Thursday 13th, and I had no length taken off the tips at all (can still see the numbers on the underside of the tips).
I love them (but know most will say they are too long)

@happymummy12345 you must spend half your life exasperated having nails that length. Mine are usually about half the length and I get;

How can you use tampons
How do you wipe your bum
You’ll have to be careful going to the loo
How do you put contact lenses in
How do you put moisturiser on
How do you do buttons up
How can you do anything with them
Men don’t find that attractive you know

They need infilling, but I'm surprised they've stayed fresh looking for a couple of weeks, white normally ends up looking grubby

Fed up with winter, so went for a nice bright colour with a bit of sparkle this week. My own nails with Gelish polish.

I dont like any shown so far, i only wear french man, Chanel rouge noir or bright glossy red. It’s personal pref isn’t it.

I'm in-between nails ATM, I just paint my ones as they're quite long but every so often they'll break quite far down so I cut them all back and start again.

My usual choice is the dark red/purple OPI varnish with the Matt top coat

@happymummy12345 wow! Personally I’d never be able to cope with that length. But they look amazing. And if you love them then that’s what matters.

One of the grooms at the stables where I ride has nails that long. I just can’t get how she functions. I keep mine a relatively short-medium length and struggle sometimes with buckles on bridles.

If mine get too long and start clacking on my keyboard at work that’s when I know I need them soaking off and reshaping.

These are mine. Dark purple with a bit of a sparkle. Have been on since 24 jan. So approx 3 weeks. Getting them soaked off and reapplied week after next. Ds chose the colour for me. He had to come as my childcare fell through. He also god his nails buffed.

@ememem84, thank you. I'm used to them. Been having them done professionally for about 13 years. And started having them longer as I got older. And now this is my standard length. As you said I love them and they're for me, no one else.

I don't care for your negative comment. Everyone has the right to their opinion but the way you come across isn't good imo. No one else has to like them, they're for me and me alone. I love them and that's all that matters. (FWIW I used to have french all the time but got bored of the same thing all the time)

I’m always so boring with my colour choices. I love looking at everyone’s nails for inspiration for my appointment and then I just go with a new shade of nude I did have a heart French last time though and loved that.

I've just soaked mine off - OPI Gel in Got the Blues for Red, but booked in for a new gel mani next week. Inspired by the rose gold glitter - very pretty but subtle at the same time so might ask for that as I fancy something lighter
