Last summer I went for rainbow of pastels the muted version of this quite tempted me
On the other hand I’ve not been blue or turquoise for a while........

@Awwlookatmybabyspider thanks! He is a cutie. Even if I do say so myself!! He was so excited to come with me. I let him choose my nail colour (dangerous game that one!) but luckily purple was acceptable!!

These are mine. I did them myself and it's only my second time so I know they're far from perfect and I have a lot of work to do, but I don't think they're too bad.

Just cut mine right back ( never thought I would say that as I bit my nails savagely for many years )

Oh I love a nail thread! Mine are naked at the moment, my nails are just starting to grow properly after losing a couple from chemo so I'm really looking after them properly and will hopefully be paiting them again in a month or two.

I'd love for people to say of they do their own nails or at a salon. I'm nail obsessed!

Had mine done on Saturday at my local salon - I have a nice shape nail so they always use a pic on their FB page

I finished 12 weeks of chemo last week and wore very dark varnish through out . The nurses laughed as it made reading the blood sats difficult but my nails survived quite well . A couple crumbled but I think now they are cut back they will improve . I always do my own nails .

Fresh gels done on Saturday. I usually go for a rouge noir shade but fancied a change.

I've got nail envy. Really expensive to have shellac nails where I live (£40 plus). Normal nail polish never lasts longer than 2 days on me. Wonder if I should invest in a lamp and attempt to do my own, does anyone do theirs?

Love those opi mixed colours especially, really different.

I had my own gel lamp etc and was happy but suddenly developed an allergy to something in the set and had to get rid of it .
I now use opi base coat , 2 coats of colour and sally Hansen fast dry top coat . I generally get a week at least before I need to tidy them up .

A lilac toned grey colour with a sparkly top coat. Acrylics with gel polish.

I've recently had acrylics with tips after years of gel overlays on my natural nails, kept quite short, so these are really long for me. Any tips on growing out my nail under the acrylics and tips would be appreciated, I'd like to just have acrylic overlays ideally without the tips.

Some lovely nails on here. Mine are currently purple with a bit of sparkle and green for good measure.

I got mine done yesterday, plain block.colour for me this time.

Total nail envy. I removed my Xmas gels myself and made a mess of it. Mine are now short with clear varnish on till the hacked up bits have grown out.

I'd say I'm never having gels again but it's a big fat lie.

I'm loving this new colour. (Its a blue sky gel colour, used with the Sensational home gel kit). It's just a shame my nails are so short - they keep breaking at the moment. They don't seem to like me regularly wearing any kind of nail covering.

Here are mine I had ombré acrylics before these but generally prefer the gel bottle in (same as shellac different brand)

I always go for nudes/whites & pinks live a bit of glitter & Swarovski too.

Just repainted them. I change my favourite colour every week. This week its lilac.
