Earrings you can sleep in

Reading a thread on here a few weeks ago, sleeping in earrings was an idea so that you wake up every day obviously still wearing them, helping you to look put together with zero effort.

What do you all think? And can anyone recommend any? Or any particular styles? I like very plain things, no diamonds etc. Would they have to be a proper metal (silver, gold etc?) so that they don't lose colour in the shower?

I wear sleepers. I thought that was why they were called that.

I don't wear jewelry to bed but if I wanted to do so I'd just wear ball studs as I deem them the safest.

I have six piercings with Anatometal labret backs, no butterflies. They never come out until I get bored or my daughter has yet another MRI scan and I inevitably lose one and have to replace it.

I should point out - badly written post - that I lose them because I have to remove them all before the scans, not because they’re getting sucked into the machines.

If all the things needed to make me look ‘done’ in the mornings, putting in earrings requires the least effort.

I sleep in this style and it’s so comfy. You can get various designs.

I've got 7 ear piercings, not faffing taking them in and out every night and morning.

Never have to worry about losing the backs now :)

And pearl earrings shouldn’t get wet or get chemicals on as chemicals damage the lustre of the pearl and soap and water will loosen the glue.

I love how many people feel the need to point out that their earrings are DIAMONDS. That wasn’t really relevant to the question was it 🙄.

I wear flat back or ball backs so they’re not uncomfortable at all and they screw on, so no worries about them coming off. They are all plain titanium so no stones to lose either. To the person who asked about cleanliness...I just wash mine when I wash my hair. Doesn’t everyone?

I wear hoops (silver) with a safety catch, not the ones that slide inside itself and they never come undone. I think I got the ones I'm wearing from Accessorize

I like the look of those barbell closings, I dont like wearing butterflies as I lose them and they dig into my neck, do they stay closed?
