Everyday knickers

Where do you get your everyday knickers from? I’m sick of the boring ones from supermarket but they’re comfortable and so I put them on day after day (not same pair obviously).
Any suggestions on alternatives?

M&S generally.

Smellslikebiscuits · 04/02/2020 21:05

M&S flexifit midis - most comfortable pants ever!

BringBiscuits · 04/02/2020 21:32

Thanks are the flexifit not quite big? They look quite‘generous’.

I usually buy 2 matching pairs with a new bra but I supplement tham with others. A few thongs and mainly M&S Brazillians. Soft lace as opposed to elastic round the bum, they move with you and usually on 3 for 2 offers but sold individually. So you choose the colours you want.

ChicChicChicChiclana · 05/02/2020 06:39

I'll never tire of saying it - Sloggi. More expensive than supermarkets and M&S but so, so worth it.

StarlightLady · 05/02/2020 07:27

Sloggi don’t suit us all. Guaranteed knicker line at no extra cost. Very limited colour choices, almost to the point of being non-existent. We don’t all want plain white and a few black if we are lucky.

Lack of stretch and thick fabric when compared with the M&S Brazilian.

I thought l was in a chastity belt rather than underwear!

ChicChicChicChiclana · 05/02/2020 07:33

I think op would welcome a range of suggestions Starlight Smile.

NiteFlights · 05/02/2020 07:42

Lidl. But I don’t recommend you do likewise.

Hanro are gorgeous and comfortable but expensive. Bodas similar. I still like Calvin Klein if I can get them at TK Maxx.

ZaraW · 05/02/2020 12:11

Uniqlo or Muji.

IHaveBrilloHair · 05/02/2020 12:14

Victoria's secret, Hollister or Superdry.

Fat face!

Having failed to find all-overstretch lace ones (which seem to have gone out of fashion), I buy those boring supermarket ones, but there's a comfy range which is cotton with a deep lace across the top of the front & come in a variety of colours. I get them from Tu or Matalan.

RIP BHS, who did a fabulous cotton back/symmetrically-seamed lace front knicker in gorgeous colours, which always drew compliments at medical appointments!

ifIwerenotanandroid · 05/02/2020 12:23

Tu = Sainsburys

StarlightLady · 05/02/2020 13:09

@ChicChicChicChiclana - Of course, which is why l made sugestions earlier in the thread. I didn’t want to come over as all negative though, so sorry if it came over that way, ‘just saying why Sloggi were not for me. Smile. For starters, I don’t do white or beige.

habibihabibi · 05/02/2020 13:12

H&M Brazilian boy style. So comfortable and no VPN due to lace leg hole not elastic

purpleme12 · 05/02/2020 13:12

Just Primark or asda

All I want in life is a semi attractive seam free light control full brief - can I find it?! No

Lyricallie · 05/02/2020 13:18

I actually like new look ones. Usually get a mix and match when mine are starting to look a bit done. I don't like boring ones though, although I do prefer a decent covering. But usually go for lace etc. They do 3 for 2. Like these ones www.newlook.com/uk/womens/clothing/lingerie/white-lace-brazilian-briefs/p/536396610?comp=Browse

damnthatanxiety · 05/02/2020 13:29

Sloggi, hanro, bodas, zimmerli, Wacoal, wolford They coat mire than they M&S type but they are made with premium fabrics and last.

damnthatanxiety · 05/02/2020 13:29

Uniqlo high waist are pretty good. Nice colours and no VPL.

Stumpedasatree · 05/02/2020 15:33

JL do some lovely seamfree knickers, that I find slightly better than M&S as they last longer without bobbling.

Aprilcherry04 · 05/02/2020 15:41

I wear tu cotton shorts but recently notice they wash a bit baggy and then my fat lower belly makes them roll down. I would to buy some cotton stretch or lace stretch midis in a range of colours

stakeholderwizz · 05/02/2020 15:52

Thanks zara will take a look
