What shoes with this dress?

I've bought this dress in forest green but I work from home and have small kids so usually live in jeans:

I just can't quite get my head around what shoes I should be wearing with it. I'm going to a dinner party this evening and was wondering about wearing it but looking at the shoes I have in my cupboard, I'm not sure I can get away with wearing any of them with this dress. Could flat black Chelsea ankle boots work, or would that just look weird? Thanks very much for your help.

Gorgeous dress!

How about long boots like the model has? Not sure about the Chelsea boots, the fabric of the dress looks quite formal/special so I think the boots might be a mismatch.

A plain black court shoe with a good point on them would look nice too.
