If you are 5ft where do you buy your jeans from without having to get them altered?

All 4 pairs my husband got me for Christmas don't fit

gassylady I'm 5'2" and my inside leg measurement is 25". Next petite jeans swamp me.

@kitkat yup! My inside leg measurement is 26 inches. I'm 5'1. Even petite are sometimes too long, luckily I have a lovely streamstress who charges £3 to machine stitch jeans in the right colour thread. Thank god for cropped petite!

I'm 5'2 with 28' leg. I somehow have very long legs compared to the rest of me!

OP, if I was your size, I'd be buying kids clothes.

I'm 5'1" and 27" inside leg. Next petite jeans are fine for me. New look also used to do a 28" leg in their jeggings that fitted me.

I think knowing your body and leg proportions is so important. I’m five foot three with a long body and an inside leg of about 27 inches - I struggle with petite jeans because they’re generally too short in the body. So Topshop Jamie jeans in 30 leg are my go to - high waisted and cropped (but not on me!) and also M&S jeggings. Long sleeves are the bane of my life, as to make sure tops and dresses fit in the body I have to put up with too long sleeves.

I get the black skinny jeans from M&S in the short length- they also do extra short lengths but they're a tad short even on me!

I'm 5ft1 and have a long body and short legs so my legs really are short!

Topshop Jamie petite or the petite ankle grazer which fit perfectly.
Next & M&S are always to big on the waist/hips I’m 4ft10 with 26”leg size 4-6 in jeans, not really that size but as clothes appear to have got bigger I somehow have become much smaller😳 also buy kids jeans from Peacocks (age 10-11)

@dontcallmelen are the Jaimie skinny or 'slim' just out of interest? I can't tell online and can't get to real shops

@Sooverthemill I usually buy the skinny’s but they did used to do a couple of different styles in the Jamie, not sure if they still do I’m going to RL shops today, will check & see if you like.

@dontcallmelen thank you. I won't be buying any time soon though so no rush. I've never understood Topshop jeans but have rarely been inside an actual shop as never lived near one
