What is your least favourite grooming chore?

Now that the beautifying rush towards Christmas is over, and in the countdown to new year parties, which grooming chores have started to grate on you?

Shaving my legs- boring, I'm happy to wear trousers until peak summer

Painting my nails- boring and pointless, they chip/ break due to the daily activities

Underarms- I cant be bothered

Please tell me your grooming irritations, or am I alone?

@Branster I like your thinking... if I had the guts I'd cut it myself Grin I'm going to start colouring myself but I suspect that will be a whole new faff!

I actually love any bit of beautifying.

I especially love doing my nails as I find it really relaxing.

Drying my hair is a bit of a faff as there is a lot of it and it takes a while, even with my Dyson. But I only wash it every 5-7 days.

Washing & blowdrying my hair. I do it every other day of course, but every single time I end up sat on my bed in a towel beforehand giving myself a pep talk 🙈 because I just find it all so time consuming and dull!

Washing my hair. Only do it once a week but it's such a chore

Corneliawildthing · 28/12/2019 21:01

I hate, hate, HATE straightening my hair. It is shoulder length and looks like candyfloss if I don't straighten it. I'm pretty rubbish at doing is as I have very little patience. I can spend half an hour doing it and by the time I'm ready to go out, it looks a mess again Angry

Hair washing, deep conditioning, drying
Legs/armpits shaving
Having a haircut, hair colour ( once every 4 months)
Moisturising after shower (hardly ever)
Painting toe nails

On the other hand, I quite enjoy doing my make up in the morning.
